Everyday

Small Aussie Businesses to Shop at during this time.

I don’t have to tell you that it’s crazy times at the moment. It really is a whole new world. Not too much has changed in my day to day life, but that’s not the deal for so many people. I thought i’d a round up of some of my favourite Aussie small businesses as well as some I hope to buy from on in the future. Every little bit helps indie business, so please, shop local when you can.

Pop Jewels

My fave earring brand! I’ve got a lot of Pop Jewels, I’m guestimating around 15-20 pairs. Sharni is an absolute legend who I just adore. Pop Jewels put out a new collection every month, with free shipping for Aussies & offer Afterpay.

Millie Savage

I don’t own anything by Millie Savage yet, but I will! Her jewellery is just stunning! I love the raw hap-hazardness of her designs. They aren’t clear cut, but have a bit of crazy character. She works a lot with opal too, which is a fave of mine. Do yourself a favour and check out her instagram. It’s filled with so many beautiful one off pieces. She also offers custom designs and custom name necklaces. Afterpay is also available!

Fancy Lady Industries

I’ve been a fan of Natalie from Fancy Lady Industries for years. Check out this post from 2010 and this one from 2012. I now own a few brooches, earrings and the above awesome colouring book by Natalie. Her designs are cute, colourful and often body positive. Her designs are popular and sell out fast, but keep an eye on social media because she does do restocks on some items.

Andrew Swift

If you follow me on instagram you probably know that one of my fave Aussie musicians is Andrew Swift. Now, yeah, probably a bit strange buying merch if you’ve never listened to his stuff. So head over to Spotify and give him a listen. Put on in in the background whilst you cook or clean!
I already have a few items, but just picked up a few new things. A lot of musicians are struggling at the moment as gigs are their main source of income. So go support your fave local musician!

Joolz Fashion

Joolz makes THE CUTEST clothing! Her designs and prints are amazing but she also offers custom designs and a lot of stock is available in sizes 6 to 36! I have a few Joolz items which you can see me wearing HERE. You can tell I love her chubby unicorn print, but her Golden Girls print has to be a favourite! Dresses, Leggings, Bikinis, Joolz has them all!

17 Sundays

I’ve been a fan of 17 Sundays for years. If you go through my archives, you can see posts about them from 2011! I still have items from that time too that are still in great condition. They offer some trendy yet comfy clothing, perfect for isolation and for when you can leave the house again.

My picks are the Ziggy Tee, the Search & Destroy drop crotch denim & well, ALL of the dresses! They also offer Afterpay.

Kawaii Aesthetics Shop

I’ve yet to order from here, but I have a few friends who have (Shoutout to Kath & Cara!). Honestly, this store looks like my idea of heaven! The colours, the cuteness! I have the problem that I just can’t decide what I love the most!

Saffron Road

Another site i’ve not actually ordered from, but it has a lot of things I adore. I’m so in love with the Rust Duster/Maxi. It’s all very hippy, boho style & looks so very comfortable. I also think it’s great that they show videos of the items. It gives you a great idea of what items fit like and some good styling tips.
Sizing are S/M to XXL which is stated to be 6-24. I *think* they have afterpay.

A few more

Little Party Dress – LPD has some amazing clothing and recently extended their range to a size 22. I only have one dress, which I have in an 18 and it fits wonderfully. I’m currently eyeing the Charlotte Hoppy dress because I love themed clothing & I don’t have anything Easter related!

Curvature Clothing – Lisa creates some super cute sustainable frocks ranging from sizes 14 -28 made in Adelaide! I love that their frocks are customisable in sleeve length/width as well as dress length!

Tibbs & Bones – Whilst T&B don’t offer plus sizes their accessories range is killer! I keep eyeing THIS wig.

Doodad & Fandango – My wishlist from Doodad & Fandango is loooong. I’ve been admiring Nikita’s work for over 5 years but just haven’t been in the position to buy. My faves are Ziggy (of course!) Love Symbol, Hissy Fit & Ply High

Edenki – The cutest brooches, earrings and necklaces. Her ‘The Child‘ brooch is high on my wishlist, as well as the Ewok and Maneki Neko brooch.

Grump Super cute smock dresses in fun prints! Also cool accessories!

FUD – I know some talented people! Sabrina makes the cutest acrylic statement earrings! Fancy sparkly ear joys!

Gippsland Jersey – My housemate has rec’d Gippsland Jersey. Their products go towards helping the Gippsland dairy farmers.
