Aussie Curves – Festival

This outfit was one of the challenging ones for me! I’ve only ever been to one festival and that was Rumba. I was around 16. It’s not really my thing, I’m not a big fan of crowds, so I had to sit back and imagine! I ended up kind of looking a bit like a hippy!

Please excuse the baggy knees in my stockings, I was being a bit lazy and didn’t fix them all up properly. Whoops.aussiecurves-festival-002

My main thoughts were comfort. While i’m not usually a shorts kind of person, I know i’d be forever paranoid about flashing someone in a dress. Stockings, so I could sit down and not get itchy from the grass. A comfy tee, which I’ve tied at the side. A kimono, to keep of the sun and add some colour. Boots, because they are super comfy and will help if someone steps on my toes! Plus a flower crown in my hair, which is styled as not to get in my way.aussiecurves-festival-003

I’m loving the kimono trend at the moment. I love the colours! This one is actually my Mums, I admit to being an enabler and helped talk her into buying it. Luckily, Mum and I can often share some items, so it works out well!aussiecurves-festival-004
