Nuffnang Blogopolis Hangover #nnb2012

I’m glad I pushed through things and made it to Nuffnang blogopolis this weekend. I’m glad I shelled out the extra money and stayed in the city. I’m glad that I had awesome room mates in Melissa, Kylie, Lauren & Veronica. I’m glad I was able to meet new people and hopefully form some new friends. I’m glad I went out afterwards. Over all, as you can tell, I’m pretty glad. Well, except for the come down and hangover.

I’m not a big drinker, I may have a cider every now & then, but that’s it. With the medication I’m on, it’s not advised. I guess this shows how much of a light weight I am, because I was slightly drunk after two glasses of champagne. Or was that 3? When I awoke in the morning, I went straight to the train station, fought to stay awake so I wouldn’t miss my stop & fell straight back into bed when I got home.

I feel like I came away with a lot more knowledge after the conference. It was somewhat intimating to be in a room full of bloggers, but I did meet some new people and have a whole pile of business cards to go through and blogs to visit. I have pages upon pages of badly written notes to decode & type up. In between finishing packing, getting the house photographed & looking at perspective new houses, that is.

We stayed at the Meriton Apartments & they were brilliant. I’d move in tomorrow if I could afford it. I feel super lucky to have had great room mates, and Laurens daughter Veronica just sent my recent bout of cluckiness into overdrive.

If you’re coming to my blog for the first time, HI! If I met you on the weekend, i’m sure it was a pleasure to meet you, make sure you leave a comment to let me know you dropped by and leave a link to your blog, so I can return the favour!!
