Rekindling my City Chic Love!

Until just over a week ago, I’d not bought a full priced item from City Chic in ages. Probably over 6 months. I’m not sure if it was the fact i’m becoming pickier with my clothes, tighter with my money, or if it’s just nothing has appealed to me, but it happened. That was until the new collection.

I mentioned in a recently Weekly Wishlist post I loved the black ice skater dress, so much so, that when I next went in store, I bought it. Now, I’m saving my change to buy the blue, yes, I love it THAT much! It’s the perfect length, the best cut and it can be dressed up or down. I kind of can’t wait for winter to pair it with some great bright coloured stockings!

Above are my current favourites, i’m loving the bright colours, it seems i’ve really turned into someone who likes to wear bright colours! I still have the dilemma about the price, when I lived in Adelaide, it was easy for me to layby something I love, in Sydney, it’s a little further away, but I think I may have to make the effort to snap up a couple of the dresses.

NOTE: City Chic sizing still seems a little odd. I know I often have trouble with their dresses, as I have a very small bust. I bought the Ice Skater dress in a Large, it’s quite snug around my waist, but roomy in the chest area.
