A look at the year that was 2013!

I try and do a bit of a yearly review every year. Just to look back and see what i’ve done. It’s been an interesting year, full of twists, turns and surprises. Love, death and moving forward. January I rang in the New Year with my sister, her fiance & my nephew. Watching fireworks on the beach at Brighton Le Sands, then drinking at my sisters friends place. It was a wonderful way to ring in the New Year, and one of the best I’d had in a long time. ||| The Hobbit! The Hobbit! The Hobbit! ||| I caved & bought my first item of Black Milk! ||| Emily passed away. February I…

    2012 – A few favourites

2012 and was a bit of a gap year for me, but in the whole not a bad year, I felt I just kind of coasted a long at a dawdle, trying to figure out what I wanted in life. I did manage to cross a couple of things off my bucket list (which needs to be updated). I rang in the New Year with my High School best friend whilst on holidays at Greenwell Point – Visited Adelaide – Met Hippos – Fractured my foot and my wrist – Mr Frodo nearly died and had to have a VERY expensive operation – Got to hold a wombat, dingo, crocodile and python, as well…

    Looking forward to the future.

After ending my (nearly) 6 year relationship in 2011, I decided I really needed to take some time to “get to know myself” again. I realised  in those years how much I had changed and how different my priorities had changed to ones that suited Adam. I was 25 at the time and not knowing what I wanted from life. I’ve spent a lot of 2012 soul searching, envisioning, dreaming, working on my mental health, working on my life. It’s been an odd year, it’s been emotional and hard at times, part of figuring out what you want in life means looking at yourself, exposing yourself and really facing up to your…

HAPPY NEW YEAR! The year that was, and what’s to come!

So, it’s officially 2012! Wahey! I certainly have my fingers crossed that this year will be a better one for me, actually, I KNOW it will be, because i’m going to make it one. 2012 is the year for change. So, for a re-cap… Spent more time with my family. Made some hard decisions. Had half a dozen different hair colours. Ended a nearly 6 year relationship. Moved back in with my parents in Sydney. Hurt my back. Been hospitalized twice. Fell in love. Seen 2 different psychiatrists. Had one x-ray, one ct scan and fainted once. Went to Adelaide Zoo twice. Went to Monarto Zoo once. Flew 7 times. Got my passpost.…

    The year in review!

JANUARY – The New Year was spent with my parents staying at my place in Adelaide, they came for Christmas. I really enjoyed having my parents stay, see my house, meet Henry. It was a really happy time for me. FEBRUARY – I learnt even more about cats and fell even more in love with Henry. He was always doing something new and adorable. I also held the first giveaway of the year thanks to Megs Ragged Edge. MARCH – My nephew Caleb visited, so Adam and I took him to the Zoo & the beach to try and keep him occupied. I realised it’s not easy looking after a…
