New hair! Red Corvette!
WOOHOO! I did it! As someone who has experimented a lot with their hair over the years, it seems I’ve become a lot more careful with my hair choices these days. This was originally going to be a vlog, but due to running around to doctors, poor mental health, and not finding the right lighting (I really need to invest in proper lights), it’s ended up being a blog post! New Hair Colour! The Sunset edition.
Pink is always a hair colour I come back to, it’s what I like to call my ‘natural’ colour, but every now and then, I like a change. I’m hoping to get on my way to purple & green, but they are two colours I don’t actually have right now, so I sorted through my stash & decided to go with one of my previous favourite colour combos. I had pink/orange/yellow balayage probably around 10 years ago now, and I loved it. This time I did the front a balayage, and the underneath a yellow/orange. There has been a lot of these posts floating around the blogosphere, and seeing as I’m kind of in a blogging slump, with my head being caught up in unpacking and such, I thought I’d join in. You’d know that I feel most alive when I’m surrounded by nature and animals. That being said, I like to have the modern conveniences of toilets, running water and internet. I’d love to just live in a beautiful house in the middle of a forest. You’d know that I don’t feel like ‘me’ without coloured hair. New hair!
With Fashion Week next week, I decided my hair was in desperate need of a trim. Bleaching my hair certainly takes its toll on my hair and I’m still growing out the perm I got late last year. You can see in THIS picture just how scraggy my ends had become. So off to the hairdressers I went. I’ve only recently started going to the hairdressers, I used to cut, dye, do everything by myself, but these days, I leave the cutting to the professionals.
