Be Active in City Chic

When it came time to put back on normal shoes after breaking my foot and spending time in a cam boot, I realised, I’d started to walk a bit oddly. Training myself to walk normally again took awhile, and I still have to be aware that i’m not favouring my instep. When City Chic released their Active range, and I had a chance to try it out, I thought it would be brilliant to try it out whilst trying to get back into the groove of exercise.

I wasn’t sure of sizing and went for the larger sizing. I got the XL in jacket and leggings, and for what I do in them, they work great. I’ve been walking, doing yoga and hula hooping in them and they work like a charm. The leggings are a little big around the thigh/knee areas on me, but the high waist band, which features a hidden tie waist are super comfortable.

The sports bra, in a 20c fits like a glove and I find supportive enough for me. When jogging it keeps the girls steady and pain free. I wear it looser for more easy going routines, and still find it works great. I’m wearing it on the last hooks in these pictures.

The jacket is perfect for exercise, the mix of mesh and fabric that has air holes make it breathable so you don’t overheat. YAS! Thank you CC!

Some of my favorite features include pockets, allll the pockets! The pants have 2 zipped pockets on the front, plus a sneaky zip pocket on the back waistband. The jacket has zipped pockets as well. The thumb holes in the jacket make for a fun feature, and the bra can be worn with straps normal or cross backed.

I’m not sure why, out of all the days I’ve had these on, I decided to take the photos whilst I am period bloated, but hey, I’m keeping things real and I don’t think most people actually look flawless when working out. No make up, red faced. But at least, I can look fashionable in my CC activewear!!

Have you tried on the CC activewear, what did you think?
