Review Post – No Exceptions Leopard Pencil Skirt

I was contacted recently by No Exceptions Clothing about doing a review post, as I’ve been in love with the leopard pencil skirt since the store went online, I jumped at the chance. Super happy with the product, super, super happy! As you can see in my previous post, I bought the ASOS leopard mini & to be honest, it wasn’t what I expected, it’s flimsy and light. This pencil skirt is everything a more!

The first thing I noticed once I tore it from the packaging is that it’s a rather heavy material. No flimsy stuff here! It’s very similar to the fabric made in ‘cord’ pants, a really nice texture (which I tried to capture in a photo below).

It fits pretty true to size. I’m always worried about ordering clothes online, especially bottoms as I can be anything from a 18 to 26!  After measuring myself multiple times, I ordered a size 22. It is a little snug, but I find that’s the way I like pencil skirts, helps suck you in a little. The fabric does also have some stretch to it.

This outfit is somewhat inspired by the amazing Chubble Bubble. She’s be rocking the sheer top in a few of her recent outfit posts and I wanted to give it a shot. What better then with a sexy leopard pencil skirt!

I need to work on a new pose! I often feel awkward in front of a camera, so I often do the *hands on the hips & smile* pose.

I’m imagining all different ways to wear this skirt now! I think next time i’m going to try it withe my bedazzled ‘The Beatles’ tee for more of a casual look.

Crappy webcam pic, but I also wanted to show that the skirt has a very firm zip at the side to help get in and out of the skirt! A must for the perfect fitted pencil skirt!

No Exceptions clothing is an AUSTRALIAN plus size retailer with some awesome alternative clothing (And swimwear!) There is honestly half a dozen items I’d love to home in my wardrobe! I am extremely happy with the leopard pencil skirt, which is currently on sale HERE at $29au
