    Aussie Curves – Yellow

A year ago, I had one item of yellow in my wardrobe. Actually, here I am a year ago, wearing that item of yellow! But now, after the last season i’ve got many more options when it comes to yellow. Dresses, a shirt, a cardigan and LOTS of jewellery. I went crazy with the neon jewellery trend. However, I wanted to keep it a little more simple this week & show off one of my favourite dresses. I’m a HUGE lover of all the skater style dresses City Chic comes out with. I have 3, and although I wish I had the money to collect them all, I eagerly await the sales…

    Aussie Curves – Feathers

I was stumped for this weeks #aussiecurves theme, feathers! I have one item of jewellery that combines feathers, but I’d already rocked them for the Bling theme. Then randomly last night I remembered, I HAD LEAF BROOCHES! Yes, my epic box of badges and brooches finally came in handy! I bought this set of 3 leather leaf badges late 2011 on etsy and actually haven’t worn them! I remember that the artist who made them was having a sale and all proceeds went to helping her pet rat have surgery, and well, you know me, I’m a sucker for any animal. I actually really like how this outfit came together,…

    Aussie Curves – Mixing Patterns

I was planning on getting my crazy colour on and going ‘out there’ for this weeks theme. One of my favourite blogs is Macademian Girl, in my opinion she does crazy, bright, clashing, ott outfits to perfection. However I woke up Saturday not feeling the best, and Sunday not so better. So I opted for my ‘go-to’ mixing patterned outfit. The weather has been crazy and I think my hair shows that. It reached 32, but a few hours before these photos were taken it was storming. I quickly put Tonka on his lead, and ventured into the yard at 7pm to take these pictures. Thank heavens for daylight savings. What do…

    OOTD: Black & Yellow!

After writing that post name, I’m sure to have the Wiz Khalifa song stuck in my head the rest of the night. If you do too, sorry! Anyway, this was just a super comfy outfit I threw on and thought I’d show it off. I picked up this velvet dress up the other day for $10! Bargain! I think it will be a great layer piece in winter, velvet = warm. I need to take a moment to tell you a story. In highschool, and the years after, I was a bit of a goth, then a wannabe scene kid. I was always on myspace, and back then, I fell in love with…

    Aussie Curves – Stripes

I did have something different envisioned for this weeks theme of ‘stripes’, that was, until I realised I’d packed it. Darn it! I love stripes and own a few striped pieces, my newest & current favourites are these striped tights from Supre! I channeled my inner 15 year old, I was a goth back in my younger days, and in the end, I really liked how the outfit turned out. It was comfortable, but not too over the top with the stripes. I’ve actually found it a little hard to style these leggings as I feel they are quite eye catching. Sure, I have no problems clashing neon colours, but striped leggings, harder then…
