    Merry Christmas! (or Happy Holidays!)

I know i’m a little late if you’re a fellow Australian (or New Zealander), but I just wanted to quickly post and wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS! I had a wonderful day filled with family, friends, fur babies, food and lots of love. But I’ll tell you all about it later, for now, I need to go to bed because today is the day I get to see THE HOBBIT! (NOTE: It may be true that I’ve been more excited about seeing The Hobbit then Christmas)

    Christmas Dreer

It’s Christmas time, it’s only a couple weeks left to Christmas, but I’m not feeling it. It doesn’t feel Christmas-y to me. I’m not sure what it is. If i’m tired from the move, or maybe because I haven’t put any decorations up yet. I have them, I just don’t have anywhere to put them. Last year was my first Christmas back home, surrounded by family (here), the year before was my first time hosting Christmas at my (old) place (here). This year, we will probably be having Christmas here, as always, and I am looking forward to seeing my family. It’s really the one time a year I get…

    Merry Christmas!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Well, it’s just clicked over here in Australia, it’s now officially Christmas day. Nothing quite like trying to get a good photo of you in front of your parents Christmas tree at 11pm when you are sick, but I don’t think I did too bad, save that the flash made me look like a zombie hungry for braaaains. I hope everyone has a happy, fun & safe holiday season! This year will be very laid back for me, but I’m going to enjoy giving Mr Frodo another present and trying to figure out how to hook up my Christmas present (A TV!) xoxo

    Birthday & Christmas Lunch!

December 18th marked my Mothers birthday, so to celebrate we invited the family out to lunch as a Birthday/ Early Christmas celebration. Last year I held Christmas at my place in Adelaide, so seeing as I’m back here, we are just taking it easy on Christmas day. We went to Blacktown Workers club, they have a nice all you can eat buffet. My niece Sharntelle and I. It was good getting to catch up with my family, I hadn’t seen my Uncle since my Grandmother funeral 18 months ago. We have a pretty crazy to explain family in terms of family tree, so you may get a little lost at…

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I left all my Christmas decorations in Adelaide, silly me, so I wasn’t going to put up any decorations this year, instead I’d wait and buy some at the after Christmas sales. Thing is, Christmas is one of my favourite holidays. I love finding the perfect gift for a loved one, wrapping it, and watching them open it. Those plans seemed to have changed though, after walking into Big W and spotting these little Christmas trees for $5 each, my only problem was, I couldn’t decide what colour to get. As you can see, I bought all 3! Then came the fact that I didn’t have any decorations for them,…
