Suitcase Shenanigans – American Tourister

I used to travel a lot, I lived in Adelaide, all my family in Sydney & I’d often work Conventions in Melbourne. One year I flew 15 times. I had a bright pink suitcase that came along with me, but sadly on my move back to Sydney, it died. It served me well. On my trip to New Zealand, I borrowed my parents suitcase, but when I said YES to going to Aitutaki, I realised, I really should get a new suitcase. I only now wish I’d bought an American Tourister bag sooner!

This bag is heaven. I love the 360° spinner wheels, I’ve never had a bag with these before, and I was just in awe. I have a bad back and pulling along a suitcase always aggravated it, but with these, you don’t have to tilt the back to wheel it along. You just pull up the handle and walk normally, it’s SO easy & no pressure on the back. THANK YOU!

I was a little worried on the trip home that the suitcase may be damaged.  My sisters cheaper suitcase came off  the belt in Sydney looking like THIS. I’d never had a hard case before, but i’m happy to report that it came out a little dirty, but no cracks or even significant scratches. I gave it a wipe down and it looks brand new.

It’s great for space. I managed to cram 21kg in no problems. Don’t judge me! I was there for 2 weeks, I needed 4 pairs of shoes. I also think I took around 1kg of sunscreen and after sun soothing stuff! It’s fully lined.

Now, I need to take a moment to talk about the colours. I think the hardest thing was choosing what colour to go with. My first instinct was the Neon Green. It popped out and I was really loving the colour lately, it actually matched my duvet, see! Then I thought, hmm, maybe the magenta, pink IS my favourite colour & who knows how long this green loving will go on for.  As you can see, I went with my gut instinct and chose the green. I don’t regret it at all, and it’s easy to spot! I was able to pick it being loaded onto the plane!

Oh, and after all my praise of it, my parents went out and bought one each for their upcoming Tasmanian holiday!
