    Outfit – Denim & Lace

I know I said in my post the other day (here) that I don’t really wear denim, and that’s the truth, but it is ‘IN’ at the moment, it’s everywhere, and I kept getting drawn to this top at ASOS. After seeing a girl out wearing a similar top, I decided to take the plunge and buy it for myself when it went on sale. I found it really hard to style though, I don’t wear collared shirts often. I decided to make it extra feminine. Sure, to me, the denim shirt does have this ‘country’ type vibe to it, but the lace adds that lady like touch. I was…

    Aussie Curves – Ruffles

Ruffffles!! Seeing I’d only worn my favourite ruffled item of clothing recently, I dug into my wardrobe for something a little different. One thing I’ve really enjoyed about Aussie Curves is that it’s making me think outside the box (or, if you’re a Doctor Who fan like me, inside the box, because it’s bigger on the inside). This is a city chic skirt from yeaaars ago and it really doesn’t get the amount of love it should do. I find it a really hard piece to style actually, but I did my best!   I love these shoes, but alas, they are a bit of a pain to walk in.…

    Outfit of the baby shower!

Last weekend I attended the baby shower of a family friend. Well, basically an adopted family member. It was great to catch up with her and her family, even if it did make me feel old. I remember going to meet her at the hospital just after she was born, and now she’s having a baby. Oh and it certainly didn’t help with the cluckyness I’ve been feeling lately! I didn’t purposely dress in blue & pink, but it did kind of suit a baby shower theme! They are waiting to be surprised of the sex, but in one of the baby shower games I guessed it’d be a boy.…

    Outfit of the Engagement Party

I always feel a bit guilty when I don’t stick to my posting schedule. Sorry. I’ve just been a bit meh, a bit moody, a bit tired. Hopefully I get back into the swing of things soon! This weekend I headed down Wollongong way to stay overnight for my cousins engagement party. CONGRATS! My parents, Auntie & I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment at Best Western and it was super swanky. I would move in tomorrow if I could! Dress – City Chic | Top (underneath dress) – City Chic | Boots – Betts | Necklace – Colette The view from the hotel was pretty awesome. The balcony was…

    Aussie Curves – Sequins

Some people may be able to pull off double denim, but as you are probably well aware, i’m just not a fan of denim. I am however a lover of all things sparkily & glittery. This weeks Aussie Curves theme is Sequins, so here I am rocking several selected sequin separates!  Yeah, this top is a little tongue in cheek, but I could not resist it. It amuses me to no end for a few reasons. When I was in my teens I had 2 similar tees that I’d wear often. One read “Sorry I missed church, I was busy practicing witchcraft & becoming a lesbian”, the other “I found Jesus, he was…
