I’m back! It seems that all Convention weekend I feel like a chicken running around without it’s head. It’s busy, busy, busy, the complete opposite to my every day life. I was so tired this time around that on my flight back to Adelaide I feel asleep before the plane left the ground!
This time around, the convention was for the hit TV series, The Vampire Diaries. Guests included Michael Trevino (Tyler), Nina Dobrev (Elana/Katherine), Paul Wesley (Stefan) & Ian Somerholder (Damon). All so very amazing, down to earth and yes, pretty. I don’t know if I could choose a favourite this con, but I have to say Ian’s eyes are just too fabulous, photo’s don’t do them justice.

Now, I should mention about the above photo. Paul does not smell, which you may think with the way I’m leaning away from him! I’m a person who finds it weird to have their personal space invaded by someone I don’t know. I honestly don’t know how Actors handle it. This was the first time I’d even seen them during the day, so of course when it came to the photo, I was seeking comfort in the person I knew, Zoe.
Melbourne was amazing, as normal! My friend Nick picked me up at the airport and took me to dinner at the Pancake Parlour. Delicious! After the rest of ‘The Hub’ crew arrived that night we walked down to ‘Lord of the fries’ and I tried ‘Poutine’. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a famous Canadian way of serving chips – French fries topped with fresh cheese curd, covered with brown gravy. It doesn’t look all that appetising, but lordy is it tasty!! Mind you, the one we had was just melted cheese, but still tasty!
I didn’t manage to get to the Tim Burton expo, which I am kind of disappointed about. Come Monday I was tired and feeling a little ill. I’m going to try and get back to Melbourne whilst it’s still on though!
How was your weekend!?
