Outfit & Travel – Little Party Dress in Woodford!
We moved into our house nearly a year ago now and slowly we’re going out on adventures. I’m new to Queensland, so I really only know the suburbs in which I’ve lived. Craig knows the area a lot better, so when I suggested we go on a Sunday Drive, we headed out towards Woodford & Kilcoy. For those who don’t know Queensland is HUGE! I often forget just how big it is. It’s 1.7 million km2. Basically nearly five times the size of Japan, seven times the size of Great Britain, and two and a half times the size of Texas. It would take you about 35hrs to drive from one end…

Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World
Craig and I had been talking about visiting Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird World for ages & last year, on Mothers Day, we finally made it. Now, my Mum had just passed away and I wanted to keep myself occupied on the day. I didn’t really think ahead to just how packed it would be due to it being Mothers Day. Apparently, it’s one of the busiest days days of the year! Saying that, it wasn’t crazy packed. We still easily got seating for lunch, had no problems with parking and was fine signing up for the bird tour. We walked around the gardens a bit, they were gorgeous, as…

To Gympie & Maryborough!
Thought I would share a gallery from a day trip I took out to Gympie & Maryborough last year. I’d hardly been out of the house because of lockdowns and my agoraphobia had been getting the best of me. So I decided I need to work on myself. My boyfriend had to go to these places for work, so I went along for the drive and when he was off working, I went off on my own. In Gympie, I went to the local shopping center and looked around. Bought a new bag in a mustard colour (which my Mum loved, I remember talking to her about it). We went…

A day in Macau!
Macau, Macau, Macau. If you’re in Hong Kong and have the time, I’d definitely recommend you pop over to Macau. I wish I’d gone for more than a day trip. The area which I visit was just amazing and I feel you could easily spend a good few days just exploring the laneways. While Hong Kong has a bit of a British feel, Macau obviously has a huge Portuguese influence. I’ve never been to Europe but walking through the winding cobblestone laneways, I certainly felt like i’d been transported. For those who don’t know much about Macau, it was formally a colony of the Portugese Empire. It actually stayed under…

Where to eat in Hong Kong (Part Two)
Genki Sushi I went to two different Genki Sushi locations in Hong Kong. Langham Place and Nathan Road. While both locations the food was excellent, I think I preferred the Nathan Road set up more. The Nathan Road seating all have the sushi train which I found SO FUN! You order on a screen and then the food gets delivered straight to you! My favourites were the seared black pepper salmon, seared scallops with garlic butter and the deep fried oysters. Ippudo Ramen Ippudo Ramen is a chain store of resturants specialising in, you guessed it, ramen! We went to the Langham Place store twice and honestly, I’ve been dreaming…
