Aussie Curves – Denim
First week back for Aussie Curves! YAY! This weeks theme is ‘Denim’. Now, i’m not a huge fan of denim. I’m very picky and I don’t really own much of it. Luckily I snapped up these jeans on sale recently, otherwise I’d have nothing to show off! I’m super fussy when it comes to pants. I’m a bit of an apple shape and I have an ‘apron of fat’, so it’s hard finding pants that are comfy and I feel good in. I nearly sent these ones back, they are a bit tight around my waist, and loose at my knees, but I loved the colour of them so much…

New hair cut & Outfit August
When I got back from Aitutaki around 17 months ago, the sea water stripped my aqua colour hair back to blonde. I decided then to stop bleaching my hair myself, go to a hairdresser and give my hair a little more love. My hair never grew past my shoulders because of the damage and I desperately wanted long hair. Not long after I went to the hairdressers and got a proper balayage dye & trim, my head started sprouting new baby hair! Since then, I’ve been growing out my hair & boy has it grown! I’ve had it trimmed 3 times in the past year & it’s certainly a LOT more…

Aussie Curves – Blue
First up, you need to click on this youtube video and listen to it while you browse this post. Blue matches pretty well with HAIM music apparently! Annnyway, as you can tell, this weeks “Aussie Curves” theme is BLUE! Without meaning to, I seemed to pack a pretty good selection of clothes for the challenges being held whilst i’m in Melbourne. Again, sorry about the crappy images. This is the outfit I wore Sunday night to have dinner at my friends parents house. I don’t often wear maxi skirts, but I’ve been finding them pretty awesome here in Melbourne, as I can layer a pair of thick tights underneath, knee…

Aussie Curves – Polka Dots
You may remember a few weeks ago I did a ‘In the dressing room’ post in Target (post here). I fell in love with a bunny jumper, but couldn’t really afford it. Well, while I was out last week looking in Target they had a sale on & I ended up picking the jumper up for $25, a saving of $10, but it all counts! Yes, it’s a cropped jumper and from the straight sized section, but it’s sooo soft and super stretchy! This weeks Aussie Curves theme is Polka dots! I realised I don’t have as many spotty things as I used to, I went through a period when I…

The perfect Target Dress
I ventured out to Penrith by myself yesterday to check out some of the sales, i’m still searching for something to wear for my birthday next weekend. I checked out all my regular shops, nothing. I wandered into Target and found this beauty. Isn’t it amazing? In the straight sized adult section, they often carry clothes up to a size 20, and this dress I tried on was the 20. Warning, it has NO stretch. It fitted my waist perfectly, with some room in the boob area (which always happens to me). The skirt is the most perfect shade of pinky-nude. I felt like a Princess! Alas, I didn’t buy it.…
