    Outfit – Mums Birthday Dinner

Just a quick post! Wednesday was my Mothers birthday & to celebrate my Dad took her out to dinner, I of course, tagged along! I’ve actually been feeling a little under the weather, I’ve not been sleeping well since Frodo past and I seem to have a bit of allergies. So, please excuse the puffy eyes & no make up! Oh, and the photos were just quick snaps on my mobile.  This dress is one I picked up in the recent Black Friday sales in the US. The lovely Lucy let me add a couple of items to her Forever21+ order, and I am so glad I went with my gut instinct…

    Aussie Curves – Yellow

Yay! Sneaking in with this weeks Aussie Curves theme of YELLOW! I have a few yellow items in my wardrobe, but settled on my peplum top as I wanted to show off the amazing pencil skirt I bought for $5! Yes, $5! Thank you Kmart! Still recovering from my Melbourne cold, as you can see. Damn break outs and sore noses! I probably should have worn my hair out, but it was a hot & humid day. The pink colour has pretty much washed out of my hair, but the orange & yellow streaks have stuck pretty well. The skirt is from the straight sized section of Kmart, in a…

    Aussie Curves – Festival

This outfit was one of the challenging ones for me! I’ve only ever been to one festival and that was Rumba. I was around 16. It’s not really my thing, I’m not a big fan of crowds, so I had to sit back and imagine! I ended up kind of looking a bit like a hippy! Please excuse the baggy knees in my stockings, I was being a bit lazy and didn’t fix them all up properly. Whoops. My main thoughts were comfort. While i’m not usually a shorts kind of person, I know i’d be forever paranoid about flashing someone in a dress. Stockings, so I could sit down…

    Outfit – She’s like a rainbow

The weather has been pretty marvelous here in Sydney the past few weeks, as long as you don’t think about the horrible bushfires. Warm, with a slight breeze. I’ve been spending a lot of time in the backyard enjoying the fresh air. So what better way to express the joy then to dress in bright colours! My BFF Lou gave me this dress, I love the colours in it, it’s so vibrant. I feel so feminine and pretty when I wear it. It also works well with a petticoat underneath to give it extra oomph! One thing I’ve been doing lately is wearing necklaces as belts! Usually you can easily…

    Outfit: Monochrome

When this skirt popped up on ASOS, I bought it straight away. I couldn’t resist. I don’t often wear fitted skirts, but I decided to give it a try. It arrived yesterday, so as I was going out today I thought i’d give it a spin. I’ve worn this shirt a few times now, but I don’t think it’s made an appearance on the blog. It’s one of those things I loved at first sight, but sat in my wishlist for ages because I never thought I’d wear it. You see, it’s mainly white. Well, a slightly off white, and it’s just not a colour I wear. I ended up…
