Outfit – Halloween Ghosties! #hashtagplusblogger
After a crazy eventful trip to Sydney, where nothing went to plan, I am back home in Melbourne. It’s nice to be back to the cooler weather and my cats. The ever so wonderful Suger of Suger Coat It has created a new plus size blog challenge. Inspired by the days of the good old Aussie Curves, it’s a weekly challenge and link-up focused on thinking outside the box and supporting fellow fashionistas! To find out all the info, plus the first round of challenges check it out HERE. The first challenge is ‘Halloween’. I was originally thinking of going all out, but then I decided, no, I’ll wear something…

Outfit – Plus Size custom Cat dress by Joolz Fashion!
Awhile ago, the super talented Joolz Fashion held a competition for the chance to win one of her customised dresses. I didn’t win, but I did get a runner-up, which entitled me to get a customised dress at a discounted price. The items I have already from Joolz Fashion (see some looks with them here) are amazing so I decided to bite the bullet and become the ULTIMATE CAT LADY! Yes, the dress is covered in pictures of my cats. The graphic is THIS one, that I threw together in like 20 minutes. It’s pretty rough, but it works. I love just picking out the pictures of Louis, Ripley and…

Outfit – Plus Size Cocktail Dress
The dress code on the invitation for the Opening Gala Night at the Pop-Up Globe read ‘Smart Cocktail’. This threw me into a bit of a tizzy because I had no idea what to wear. I got rid of a lot of my cocktail dresses when I stopped working in the convention industry, but I knew I had a few options. I wanted to wear something different, but I knew I could always fall back on my CC Dolce Rose dress. I looked through my wardrobe and closet, and then went and pulled out all the items I have bagged up to sell and found this number. I’m now glad…

Outfit – More Fat Unicorns!
ZOMG! Warmer weather! Though by warmer, I mean it’s 22 and i’m not freezing! Anyway, this tunic has been sitting in my basket just begging to be worn. I had planned to style it up for winter, but seeing as the weather was so nice, I thought it was the perfect excuse to get my legs out! I love this print so much. So, so, so, so much. I mean, fat unicorns!? I have the crop, but when the tunic popped up on sale, I just had to buy it. There was only a size 18 and I ‘m usually a 20/22, but after talking to Joolz, I snapped it up.…

Outfit – Beth Ditto Polka Dots
It’s been an age since I’ve worn this dress, we’re talking years! I find I have items in my wardrobe that I just adore, but don’t tend to reach for. I think this one mainly comes down to the crinkles and the neckline. It crinkles rather easily and I don’t iron. I also prefer lower necklines. But it wasn’t nearly as claustrophobic as I remembered. I wore this out yesterday to Yum Cha with family and seeing as I was getting a ride, I didn’t have to dress in 3000 layers to battle Melbournes cold. YAY. Of course, I am wearing stockings and a singlet underneath, but I was warm…
