This week on #hashtagplusblogger (more info here) the theme is “You can’t”. My mind went a little wild with the possibilities. Being fat and a woman, I and many others often get told what we can and can’t wear. This can be anything from showing too much skin, wearing clothing that is too tight or too loose, or even what patterns shouldn’t be worn. Awhile ago, the super talented Joolz Fashion held a competition for the chance to win one of her customised dresses. I didn’t win, but I did get a runner-up, which entitled me to get a customised dress at a discounted price. The dress code on the invitation for the Opening Gala Night at the Pop-Up Globe read ‘Smart Cocktail’. This threw me into a bit of a tizzy because I had no idea what to wear.
