Outfit – Mustard & Lemons! Nyata & Crossroads!
This outfit is something different for me. These are colours that I don’t usually wear. Sure, I have my lemon print dress and I do love yellow, but generally I shy away from a lot of yellow/orange/greens/browns. I really love how this outfit turned out though. I wore it out to dinner and was super comfortable the whole evening. Nyata are amazing. I’ve been lucky to see their designs numerous times, but sadly, I don’t often have the money to be able to purchase them. Something I wish I could do more is supporting smaller Australian businesses. Nyata is Australian owned but manufactured in Indonesia. They offer smaller runs on…

Melbourne Fashion Week Plus – Show One
This week I’m bringing you posts every day from Melbourne Fashion Week Plus! There were 4 runway events split over 3 days, and I’ll be sharing each show in one post. Does that make sense? I haven’t decided what the 5th post will be. It might be about the panels, or some behind the scenes shots, or about the shenanigans we all got up to. I also have outfit photos to share! Let me know if YOU have a preference. So without further ado, here are some pictures and my thoughts on the first MFW+ show for you! State of Liberty Wowza, what can I say? This was a way…

Outfit – Comfort is key!
Sometimes, when it’s overcast & gloomy, when you’re cold & have periods sent from hell itself, when you’d rather stay in bed, but have to go out to pick some groceries up, you just need to go for comfort. That is what this outfit is for me. These leggings were the first thing I ever bought from Living Dead Clothing (not the Bowie dress) yet I’ve never showcased them on the blog before. Whoops! I loved the design so much that and had trouble deciding what style I should get, but went with the leggings. I’m glad I did, they’re super comfy. This Chambray jacket is one of the only…

Curvy Couture Roadshow – Part 2 #ccr2015
Beyond the Sea Beyond the Sea showcased a range of one piece swimmers. Whilst I kind of wished for a bikini, they certainly had the vintage swimmer vibe down pat. This black, white & red above was my favourite. Hope & Harvest Hope & Harvest nailed it! Military is in this season and the collection shown was full of earth tones, prints and the most amazing anorak! Nyata Nyata hold my heart for flowing sequin numbers. I’ve been lusting after their designs for a while and have showcased them on the blog a few times. Seeing the items in person did not disappoint and only made me lust after them…

Outfit – Neon Florals
I am super in love with this top! It appeared in my Christmas wishlist, but I ended up buying it for myself in the after Christmas sales! It’s sadly no longer on the site, but check your local City Chic stores! It is a bit of an akward top to get sunburnt in though! I was running around with Tonka getting him to the vets (he had a UTI, 3 vet visits, including one at 3am after he was peeing blood!) and totally forgot to put sunscreen on! Now I have some interesting sunburn lines! I wore it with pants, which you can see here. After reading the reviews of…
