OOTD: Metallic crinkles
It’s hard to take pictures of metallic items, it seems. These photos don’t do this top justice, in real life, it’s a champagne gold shimmery perfection. I fell in love with it after seeing THIS picture in the recent Virtu catalogue, and even though i’m not a gold wearer, it the kind of top that seems to change colours depending on what you wear. Living out of a bag isn’t easy, that is why my skirt is creased. Also, I don’t iron. Ever. I am not an iron-er This skirt is usually fine, it doesn’t really crinkle, except that it was rolled up and shoved under a mound of other clothes. However, it’s one…

Aussie Curves – Skirt
Well hello! I’m back at my old house after spending a few days unpacking and painting some more of #thedarlingden. I honestly don’t know how I used to live without the internet. We’ve not had it set up at the new place yet, but luckily my iPad keeps me in touch with the online world. However, I only have a small bag of clothes left here, nothing overly spectacular. I had pulled on my all time favourite skirt to wear for this post, only to find it’s TOO BIG! (Picture here) So, I pulled on my current faithful love. I’ve been wearing this ASOS jersey midi pencil skirt a lot lately, it’s…

Aussie Curves – Blue
BLUE! When trying to figure out what to wear for this weeks theme, I noticed I have a lot of blue clothes. It’s also quite amazing just how many different shades of blue there is! I decided to put together an outfit of all blue, and also try not to wear something that someone else may wear (I have a gorgeous blue knit jumper that I know Dani also has!) I’ve been in a real sparkly glitter mood, and I think it came across with all the sequins and glitter. I used glitter eyeliner and put in my cute kitty earrings. They are handmade and I picked them up in…

Vintage OOTD
These photos are from late March 2011, so if you’ve been around my blog awhile, you’ve already seen them. Seeing as I’ve been busy with the new place, I thought i’d recycle some posts. This time around, images are a little larger. I mainly love these photos due to horses being present, I mean come on, HORSES! These were taken at Bonython Park , in Adelaide, after a breakfast for my ex’s work. I was super excited to notice that the park backs on to the Police Barrack stables! So yes, not only are they horses, they are police horses! SHIRT – K-mart JACKET – City Chic SKIRT – Asos Curve SHOES –…

Aussie Curves – Tribal
I’d been slightly panicked weeks in advance for the ‘Tribal’ theme. Tribal! I don’t own anything tribal! When I think tribal, I think earth tones, gold jewellery, eclectic patterns. Nope, I don’t have any of that in my wardrobe. So, I kept my eyes out for anything tribal in sale sections, hoping to score a bargain. Savoir came from Belle Curve, a new plus size clothing collection that you can pick up at Myer. In the city for VFNO, Caitlin I ventured into Myer & we pawed over the collection in person. After seeing these pants, I knew they would be perfect for me for Tribal week. Something that wasn’t what I’d normally pick, but…
