Weekly Wishlist – A is for Arsenic
I’ve talked about my love of A is for Arsenic before HERE, limited edition capsule collections designed by Amelia. Everything from the merch, the look books, to even the packaging is beautiful designed to perfection. Can you tell I’m a huge fan!? Her newest collection ‘taxidermia’ and mini collection ‘black heart’ both appeal to my inner goth, but the things I love about the pieces are they are the perfect combination of wearable macabre. You can purchase these…

Toxic Injection Jewelry Review
After featuring a pair of shoes by Toxic Injection in THIS Weekly Wishlist post, I was contacted by owner Cecer in regards to reviewing some of her jewelry. As a lover of all things bright & sparkily, I jumped at the chance & next thing I knew a randomly chosen box of goodies were on their way from Denmark to Australia. Shipping was actually a lot faster then I expected, the box arrived on my doorstep in under two weeks. (I didn’t keep exact date, sorry!) The above necklace is one of the favourite things I was sent. The thing I love about what I recieved, is that it can be catered…

Australian Spotlight – Nicole Fendel Jewellery
I love supporting Australian talent, so I guess I’m pretty lucky that Australia seems to be full of some amazingly talented people. That’s why I decided to start ‘Australian Spotlight’. To try and showcase some of the creations available. Nicole Fendel is one of those talented Australian people, she decided to take a leap and follow her true passion, jewellery design. I think the thing that draws me most to NFJ is that to me, is that it has such a great balance between detail and simplicity. I love that a lot of the jewellery features engraved messages, such as “‘I love to be lost and able to discover” & “Never live…

NZ Spotlight – Little Sister Designs
While not ‘plus size fashion’, I just had to do a post on Little Sister Designs. L.S.D jewelry comes from the imagination of Charlotte Burkhart a jewelry maker of 10 years, living in New Zealand. To me, her designs are the perfect balance of beautiful and macabre. I’m always drawn to items that are a little different and these, to me, are pretty much perfection. The use of teeth, human hair & silver, may seem strange to some, but just makes it seem all that much more special to me. I think my favourite item would be The Secret Garden Ring ($135us) a gorgeous antique ring that’s been cast in sterling…
