A very seafood weekend!
I love seafood, in fact, Oysters are one of my favourite foods. I know they are one of the foods that a lot of people dislike, but not me, I’ve been eating them since I was young! My parents will tell stories about how I would be at a restaurant aged 6 ordering oysters. For my last weekend here in Melbourne, my boyfriend decided we should have a seafood night, so he got up early Saturday morning and went to one of the local markets to pick up some fresh seafood. Turns out, he bought enough that we made a seafood weekend out of it! Originally he planned to wrap…

Quick Pics
Shopping haul from the other day! Jewel necklaces, kitty ears and teeny kitty studs from Diva, bangles from Lovisa, and the silver circle necklace and skull earrings are from sportsgirl. I bought everything on sale! Sushi! I love sushi! My favourite is cooked tuna and avocado. I miss this place in Adelaide that made pumpkin sushi. SO GOOD! A couple of webcam pictures. Kitty ears & kitty love! Tonka keeps stealing Emily’s beds! This is when I spent a few days at #thedarlingden, he’d either be cuddled up next to Frodo, watching the backyard from the kitchen door, or in Emily’s bed! Whilst cleaning out one of my closets (which was…

Just a few Quick Pics
I’m an emotional baker. When i’m upset, I tend to bake. When my Grandmother was alive, she used to love it, she had a real sweet tooth. I had to stop myself at one batch of cupcakes today. I’m home alone and I won’t be able to eat all these by myself. I decided against icing too. I was originally going to make pink vanilla icing, but I’ve never been a big fan of icing. My parents dog Emily has been sick, a fair few vet visits, needles, x-rays. She’s doing a lot better now. | Frodo has been sooky at times, he decided the other day he had to lay across…

And another birthday!
Yes, a lot of my loved ones have birthdays in December, the most recent was my niece Sharntelle, who celebrated her 19th birthday yesterday. My sister picked me up early, as she decided we’d make Sharn a profiterole cake for her birthday. I’ve never made profiteroles, but by golly home made ones are YUMMY! I was on hand to help out. We did 3 batches of profiteroles, then filled them with home made custard. We covered them in milk chocolate, white chocolate and white chocolate with food colouring to make a pinky-purple colour. Then sprinkles and silver balls. We were originally trying to stack them to make a tall cake, but it wasn’t working too well,…

My life, Melbourne & food talk!
Thinking too much. About everything. It’s funny, when I left Adam, I took the time to re-evaluate everything. My life, what I wanted & bam, just a few weeks after that, here I am again. Working at the convention on Saturday (Photo by Davby) Sore. My back is killing me again. After working the convention on Saturday & then flying, Sunday morning my legs had gave way again and I wasn’t able to walk properly. So no convention for me on Sunday. I spent the majority of the day in bed sleeping at the hotel. In Melbourne! Yep, I’m in Melbourne until the 26th. Finally have the chance to stay…
