Chadstone’s Mecca Maxima opening with Chloe Morello

I live a hop, skip & jump away from Chadstone so when I heard that the new section was opening with a new Mecca Maxima store I decided I was going to head in and check it out. The first 150 people in line got to meet Chloe Morello and receive her new palette from Ciate London. I’m kinda lucky the cats had me up half the night and I was up super early. Originally I was going to head over to Chadstone around 7:30, but after checking the facebook feed and seeing so many people had lined up, I figured I’d head over early. I arrived around 6:20am and was…

Curvy Couture Roadshow – The Runway

Show 1 – Beachwear & Contemporary Robyn Lawley Swimwear |  Beyond the Sea Swimwear | Meri by Design | Lucabella I learnt a couple of things at the CCR, and one of those is, make sure your camera batteries are all charged, and even if they are, bring the charger along anyway. I arrived on the day with 2 battery packs, and as the catwalk started, the first set died. Cue me running off to the media room to try and dig out my other battery pack. Sigh. So I missed out on seeing a few of these. Show 2 – Contemporary 17 Sundays | Harlow | Embody Denim | Christine Kardashian I have much love for all…

Belle Curve at Target + giveaway!

I was recently invited to a bloggers viewing of a new plus size range Belle Curve launching at Target. I’ve always loved Target but apart from one time in the past, I found their plus size range lacking, while it worked for some people, as a 20 something girl into fashion I always found it underwhelming, especially when surrounded by some of the amazing pieces available in straight sizes. Top – BelleCurve Kaleidoscope Maxi in size 22. It was a bit big and I could have easily sized down to a 20. Worn with a belt borrowed from the Zoe pants. Above – Outfit which you can see in my previous post, worn with…

    Melbourne Cup Fashion

For those in Australia, and even for many overseas, they know that Tuesday was ‘The Melbourne Cup’. It is indeed a race that stops the nation, so much so, it’s a public holiday in Victoria. I’m not really a horse racing person, but fashion, well you all know fashion is something I love, and the Melbourne Cup is where the big guns get pulled out. I’ve been searching for a full length picture of this outfit, but from the shoulders up, it’s AMAZING! Look at those spikes! While looking over pictures, I noticed a lot of floral and digital prints, a style I am very into at the moment. Plus…

    Nuffnang Blogopolis Hangover #nnb2012

Photo credit: Left by Rah – Right by Sugercoatit I’m glad I pushed through things and made it to Nuffnang blogopolis this weekend. I’m glad I shelled out the extra money and stayed in the city. I’m glad that I had awesome room mates in Melissa, Kylie, Lauren & Veronica. I’m glad I was able to meet new people and hopefully form some new friends. I’m glad I went out afterwards. Over all, as you can tell, I’m pretty glad. Well, except for the come down and hangover. I’m not a big drinker, I may have a cider every now & then, but that’s it. With the medication I’m on,…
