Outfit – Oh so 90s!
To me, this outfit just makes me think of the 90s, a very monochrome toned 90’s (my hair excluded). I think it’s the beret. One thing I’ve been learning since my move to Melbourne, is layering. The weather here is, well, ever changing, so layers help keep you warm, or cool off. Pants UNDER dresses. Yep, I did it. I remember going to school wearing my school dress, but then chucking on a pair of tracky dacks underneath to keep warm, knowing that i’d strip them off half way through the school day, and Voilà I’m still in uniform. I blame Margaret Zhang for my current love of pants under dresses.…

Aussie Curves – Bodycon
When I found this dress online, it was love at first sight. I love the print so much I bought this dress, as well as a singlet in the same material. I don’t often wear it as a dress though. For me, I’m not always in the mood to wear bodycon. My belly is still an area that I’m insecure about, so I need to be in the “eff the haters” kinda mood to wear them. Instead, I tend to wear it with a skirt over the top, which you can see here. But this weeks Aussie Curves theme is Body Con, so here I am rocking it on its…

Outfit link up – My favourite fairy tale.
Nessbow recently asked a handful of bloggers if they’d like to participate in a themed outfit link up! Of course I said yes, I like having a theme to help me dress, I like to trying to think of new & different ways of wearing things. The first theme is “My favourite fairytale.” This was actually harder then I expected! How was I supposed to choose a favourite fairytale? My fave by far is actually Peter Pan, but I just couldn’t figure out an outfit inspired by Peter, Wendy or Hook, and my fave character from the novel is actually Nanna, a dog! So I went another favourite of mine.…

Aussie Curves – Spikes
I’ve always claimed that even my fashion is ruled by my star sign. I was always planning on gothing it up a bit for ‘Spike Week’ on Aussie Curves, but as you can see, there is no black in sight! I was also considering using this dress/tunic for an upcoming theme. Oh well. It’s been a while since I’ve worn this, I got it in 2010 (you can see it in an OOTD here) but my then boyfriend didn’t really like it on me, so I never wore it. It’s a little large in the boob department, but otherwise I quite like it. It’s so comfy & makes me feel…
