Aussie Curves – Pink
PINK! It is my favourite colour, and what I actually consider my natural hair colour. Yes, I was born brunette, but my hair was meant to be pink. Oh how I’m missing my colour hair! Anyway, I was a little stumped this week, because despite it being my favourite colour, I don’t have too many items of pink clothing. I was planning on wearing my favourite dress, but Dani wore it! So I decided to just do subtle pink, focus on some of the fun pink accessories I have. While I don’t have a lot of pink clothes, I have an abundance of pink jewellery, shoes and belts! Please excuse the slightly odd posing,…

Outfit – Galaxy
I never thought i’d fit into Black Milk clothing, until I bit the bullet and tried. I still get a bit nervous shelling out such high amounts of cash on items that I can’t try on and know how they’ll fit, but I’ve found that i’ve been pretty lucky. The fact that Black Milk now cater to a size XL now helps! When they released the Galaxy skater skirt, I knew it had to be mine. It arrived and I was a little unsure how to style it. It’s super stretchy, but like most things, I find it most comfortable to wear on my waist, so it does tend to…

Aussie Curves – Colour Clash
Today has been the first day in the past couple that I actually got up and got dressed. I’m not feeling as nauseous, so I pushed myself to get dressed to this weeks Aussie Curves theme of ‘colour clashing’. I knew what I was going to wear as soon as I read the prompt nearly a year ago, though it didn’t factor in that it would be in the middle of winter. Luckily, it was a really nice sunny day out! I love to clash colours. Green & purple are one of my favourite colour combos, but #1 on that list is pink & orange. The photos turned out really…

Aussie Curves – Military
Military! I had a lot of trouble trying to figure out an outfit for this post. I went through a few ideas in my head, maybe I could channel Tank Girl!? No, I couldn’t do her justice. Maybe Baby Spice in Spiceworld? No. I ended up just piecing together a couple of items that had a bit of a military feel. The jacket was a gift from my Uncle, it was his back when he was in the Army Reserve. The label reads ‘Mulford’, which, in case you didn’t know is my last name! The sash is my own, from back in my Brownie Days! You can see a close up of the sash…

Outfit – Fantastic Florals
So I mentioned in the most recent Aussie Curves post about learning to accept my VBO. This is another ASOS dress, similar style to the one I wore in the Aussie Curves post. I didn’t wear this dress out, I put it on to try and figure out a way I could style it, and figured I’d take some photos of it ‘as is’. I have to walk through my parents house to get to the backyard to take the photos, and Mum commented about not being sure if she liked the dress on me. I think for me to wear it out confidently, I’d have to style it a…
