    Aussie Curves – Texture

This weeks Aussie Curves theme was texture, I was looking through my wardrobe looking at my clothes thinking “hmm, isn’t any fabric basically a texture?”. I couldn’t decide what I should wear. Then I was hit with inspiration, you see, I am a HUGE Lord of the Rings fan, if you’ve read my blog for awhile, you know that. Well, today Aussie label Black Milk released their Lord of the Ring/The Hobbit pieces and I’ve seen a few ladies wondering about the sizing. I’ve lusted after MANY Black Milk pieces and was always sad because they stop at a size L (They are apparently trying to extend sizes to an…

OOTD – The Hobbit (I can wear Jeans & a Tee!)

So, you’ve probably realised by now I’m not a jeans & tee kind of gal. I wish I could pull off the look as effortlessly as some people do, but me and pants, well, we don’t have the best relationship. That doesn’t mean I don’t try to rock the look every now and then. December 26th was the day The Hobbit was released in Australian cinemas (don’t even get me started on that!) and of course, being the huge Tolkien nerd I am, I had to go and see it on the day. I also decided to dust off one of my Lord of the Rings tees I have. It was boxing…

    Aussie Curves – Shorts

I was having a bad day when I took these photos. I had to take one of my sedatives the night before, so I was really out of it. I think it kind of shows. Even though I felt like a muggy headed zombie, the day was pretty good. My brother, along with my niece and nephew visited so they could open their presents, I watched some of the Carols in the domain with my Mum, and I caught up on A LOT of sleep. Shorts are not something I often wear. In fact, until last week, I only owned one pair. Whilst looking at the Crossroads site, I ordered…

    OOTD – Mountain Florals

I’m never quite sure what the weather will be up at the Blue Mountains. It can be hot, but still have a breeze as it’s rather high up. Sometimes it’s freezing, even in summer. Then again, it can be stifling hot, so I decided comfort and something that would suit me whatever the weather would be. This Dream Diva shirt is one of my go to comfort summer shirts. It’s light and protects me from the sun, which helps as I get burnt so so easily. I’ve been wanting a pair of floral pants for ages, but I’m SO fussy when it comes to pants. I love Crossroads jeggings, so…

    Aussie Curves – Pastel

Pastels! When I challenged myself to start wearing colour, I often went for bright colours, but as I’ve grown more comfortable in colour, it’s expanded to pastel and I now even own a couple of white items. Sadly I didn’t have the time to do any outfit pictures with the move, but I thought I would take a few pictures of a few of my favourite pastel items! 1 – Cardigan from Valleygirl | 2 – Purple skinny jeans from ASOS Curve | 3 – Ulta3 nailpolish in lily white | 4 – Pale pink ankle frill socks from local $2 store | 5 – Flower & diamante earrings from…
