Aussie Curves – Festival
This outfit was one of the challenging ones for me! I’ve only ever been to one festival and that was Rumba. I was around 16. It’s not really my thing, I’m not a big fan of crowds, so I had to sit back and imagine! I ended up kind of looking a bit like a hippy! Please excuse the baggy knees in my stockings, I was being a bit lazy and didn’t fix them all up properly. Whoops. My main thoughts were comfort. While i’m not usually a shorts kind of person, I know i’d be forever paranoid about flashing someone in a dress. Stockings, so I could sit down…

Aussie Curves – Feminine
To be honest, I got a little thrown this time with ‘feminine’. I think feminine is certainly one of those things that can mean different things to different people. I think of myself as a feminine dresser, I like dresses & skirts, lingerie, heels, pretty colours. I decided to push my boundaries a little and go a little crazy. Yes, that is a shark crop top, and yes, I think I managed to make it look somewhat feminine. Sure, sharks aren’t nessasarily what you’d call feminine, but throw on a pretty pink cardi and some pearls and wa-hey. NOTE: I wouldn’t actually wear it without the cardigan, like the middle…

Outfit – Burtonesque!
I don’t know what this outfit is, but I felt crappy, I’d been crying and I just felt like getting back into my darker clothing days. I still have a love of black and layers. In the end, I think this outfit came out looking very Tim Burton-y. I find it weird to see me with pictures of my hair up. I don’t tend to wear it up all that much, and it makes it look even more brunette. Can you believe I’ve been blonde for nearly 5 months!? I miss the colour dearly, but I’m still loving that I don’t have to dye my hair every other week. Oh,…

Aussie Curves – Sequins
Some people may be able to pull off double denim, but as you are probably well aware, i’m just not a fan of denim. I am however a lover of all things sparkily & glittery. This weeks Aussie Curves theme is Sequins, so here I am rocking several selected sequin separates! Yeah, this top is a little tongue in cheek, but I could not resist it. It amuses me to no end for a few reasons. When I was in my teens I had 2 similar tees that I’d wear often. One read “Sorry I missed church, I was busy practicing witchcraft & becoming a lesbian”, the other “I found Jesus, he was…

Aussie Curves – Yellow
A year ago, I had one item of yellow in my wardrobe. Actually, here I am a year ago, wearing that item of yellow! But now, after the last season i’ve got many more options when it comes to yellow. Dresses, a shirt, a cardigan and LOTS of jewellery. I went crazy with the neon jewellery trend. However, I wanted to keep it a little more simple this week & show off one of my favourite dresses. I’m a HUGE lover of all the skater style dresses City Chic comes out with. I have 3, and although I wish I had the money to collect them all, I eagerly await the sales…
