This week on #hashtagplusblogger (more info here) the theme is “You can’t”. My mind went a little wild with the possibilities. Being fat and a woman, I and many others often get told what we can and can’t wear. This can be anything from showing too much skin, wearing clothing that is too tight or too loose, or even what patterns shouldn’t be worn. You can’t wear horizontal stripes, you can’t show off your VBO, you can’t wear leggings as pants. I’m a rule breaker when it comes to fashion. OOTD – Mountain Florals
I’m never quite sure what the weather will be up at the Blue Mountains. It can be hot, but still have a breeze as it’s rather high up. Sometimes it’s freezing, even in summer. Then again, it can be stifling hot, so I decided comfort and something that would suit me whatever the weather would be. This Dream Diva shirt is one of my go to comfort summer shirts. Aussie Curves – Bling
Aussie Curves was a little hard for me this week, I don’t really have any ‘bling’. While I love all things shiny, I tend to head towards sequins and glitter. I decided to pull out this dress I got on sale at ASOS, I’d never worn it before and probably could have used and iron, but I really really love this dress. OOTD – Comfort
Today Frodo seems to be much more himself, so much so, I even got the chance to duck outside quickly to take some outfit pictures without him crying. Of course, he’s now curled up on my lap, but he’s certainly making progress. Between my boot & having to carry Frodo around, my clothing has been all about comfort, not to mention, it’s been rather hot here the past couple of days. I do not understand what’s up with the weather as of late. You can’t see it, but i’ve added some iridescent tinsel to the sides of the boot. Oh make me over…
I’m not the best when it comes to change. I can handle it, but when it’s something huge, I feel like I need to change my image to fit with the change in my life. I failed halfway with what I was wanting. I blame my head being in a ‘funky’ spot. I spent around $100 (which I didn’t really have) on hair extensions & dye. I was 100% positive the extensions said human hair, that’s why I bought them. Only they are not. After trying to dye them, then going over the pack 3 times, they are synthetic.
