Outfit & make up of the LuWow!

On Saturday night I headed out to The LuWow for a friends birthday. I had no idea what to wear, a mental state i’ve been in a lot lately. I really wanted to wear my Neverland dress from PUG, but while it fits around the waist, the bust is just way too big on me (see here). I really need to go get it tailored. I decided to make it happen though, and just turned the bust down inside the dress. Paired with the crop & belt, I think it worked well. Dress worn as skirt – Pin Up Girl Clothing (or skirt) | Crop – Supre | Belt – City Chic…

    Outfit – Striped monochrome.

Yeah, I am fat and I LOVE to wear stripes! I totally think all the talk about what a fat person can & can’t wear is total BS. Wear what YOU want! I bought this top online ages ago, but accidently had it sent to my parents address. It took them awhile to post it to me, but boy was it worth the wait! I need to remember to take outfit photos before I go out, cause once I get home I just want to strip off and relax. I’m glad my make up stayed on so well, just had to reapply my gloss! My hair is in desperate need of…

    Melbourne Show Shenanigans + Outfit!

Saturday night I experienced my first Royal Melbourne Show! I’ve been to the Sydney Easter Show many times (see!) but this is the first year I’ve lived in Melbourne to experience the show. I was originally thinking of going by myself, but when Hayley put up she was thinking of going if anyone wanted to join her, I immediately jumped in with a YES PLEASE! Thanks to Hayley for taking the above photo & the one at the bottom of the post! It’s starting to warm up a little lately and it’s been so nice being able to wear skirts & dresses again! Girl Gang! The animal nursery is always…

Outfit – Black & White patterns!

Well, hello. This was just a bit of a spur of the moment outfit post. I had to head out to go to the doctors today, and I was honestly feeling like poop. I just wanted something comfortable and I ended up feeling rather cute in what I decided to wear. Apart from the bra, I felt a bit like I channeled the styling of a toddler. It’s been a busy week for me, I finally saved enough money to get Tonka to the vet to get his teeth out. Dental isn’t covered by his pet insurance. He ended up getting 7 teeth out! SEVEN! I went to the doctor…

    Underwear, that’s fun to wear!

I have a confession to make, I have never been properly fitted for a bra. Nope. Though I know I am not alone. I found the perfect t-shirt bra a few years ago, bought 4 (2 white, 1 black, 1 bright pink) and called it day. While I do love lingerie, a lot of it isn’t for every day wear, especially plus size items. It’s all babydolls and frills. There never used to be a good ‘inbetween’. Something sexy & stylish, comfortable yet firm, but also affordable. I’d always looked at the lingerie City Chic released, and would sigh. Sometimes being a plus size lady, with itty bitty titties was…
