Last Sunday, I headed out to Supanova. For those who have been looong time readers, you’ll know I used to work in the convention industry. It’s my life…
Sorry that i’ve been a bit absent lately. I’ve not been feeling 100% and have just felt a bit overwhelmed. Here is a few things that’s been happening as of late. Melbourne! No, i’ve not been IN Melbourne. I’ve just been doing a LOT of research! I’m heading down for a week in November to attend The Blogcademy and I’ve been trying to figure out WHERE to stay. The Darling Den, an update!
We’ve started painting! YES! My sister and I headed out to Bunnings in search of white paint, so I could paint the wall behind where I was putting my wall units. Who knew that so many different shades of white existed!? I was waiting at the paint counter to get my paint tinted to the colour I wanted, only to be told that the colour I had picked was the base colour and I didn’t need anything done to my tin. Whoops. Welcome to my bed…
Slowly, but surely my room is coming together. Last month I gave you a look at my desk (See HERE), today, I’m giving you a squizzy into my bed cubby! Yes, you read right, I have a bed cubby! You see, i’m living in the ‘rumpus’ room of the house. The games room, the entertainment room, whatever you like to call it. It’s pretty huge. But I still wanted a little privacy with my bed and dressing area. Oh, and I’m still a kid at heart, so the thought of having somewhat of a forte bed made me happy. I’m working on 4 hours sleep in the last 40 odd hours. I’m hoping i’ll sleep soon but I’m so wound up & stressed that I can’t seem to relax. If all else fails, i’ll pull Adam’s bean bag out into the garden tomorrow and nap in the open air (under shade of course, I burn with in minutes!). I cried so much today, it’s a mixture of things. I’m stressed about one of the design jobs I’m doing, I’m stressed about money. I’m depressed & frustrated about my mental illness, which is somewhat amusing.
