Blogcademy friends & the power of sale dresses!
Just over a year ago, I flew to Melbourne (from my home in Sydney) to attend ‘The Blogcademy’. A 2 day workshop hosted my 3 influential bloggers that I had been following for years. Little did I know, that in the span of 12 months, I’d have picked up my life, MOVED to Melbourne, and have a bunch of amazing fellow bloggers to call friends. Last week, with MJ visiting Melbourne (She lives in Adelaide) a few of us got together for some shopping, yummy food, and blog talk. I was the only one who didn’t wear ears, though my belt did have ears, so I wasn’t too left out.…

Outfit & The Melbourne Star!
Yesterday was a pretty awesome day! I met up with my friend Mallory in the morning, without too many plans for the day, & it resulted in a lot of window shopping, going on the Melbourne Star, and meeting our favourite character from The Almighty Johnsons, which was probably a show that deepened Mallory and my friendship! It started off with a bit of a doozy, as I was walking to the bus stop, I got hit by a car! In all honesty, it was more of a ‘tap’, he was reversing out of his driveway and neither of us saw each other, but boy am I feeling it today!…

New hair cut & Outfit August
When I got back from Aitutaki around 17 months ago, the sea water stripped my aqua colour hair back to blonde. I decided then to stop bleaching my hair myself, go to a hairdresser and give my hair a little more love. My hair never grew past my shoulders because of the damage and I desperately wanted long hair. Not long after I went to the hairdressers and got a proper balayage dye & trim, my head started sprouting new baby hair! Since then, I’ve been growing out my hair & boy has it grown! I’ve had it trimmed 3 times in the past year & it’s certainly a LOT more…

Outfit – Melbourne Zoo – What I wore.
As you can see, I didn’t get any really good #ootd pics at the zoo. To be honest, I was too caught up in the animals! My friend quickly snapped the above picture just as we were about to leave! I dressed warm and comfortably! As we arrived at 9:30am, it was still rather chilly. Also, yes, I wore my glasses. You don’t really see them much on my blog, but I am supposed to wear them whenever I leave the house. I often forget, and I usually take them off for my outfit photos anyway. Jumper – Kmart | Pants – City Chic | Boots – Betts | Bag…

Aussie Curves – Denim
I’m not a huge fan on denim, while I’ve been testing the water and wearing more pants lately, I only own one pair of jeans, and they are black. I do however own 2 denim jackets! My 1st denim jacket, which you can see here is OLD, I’ve owned it for like 10+ years. When I saw this jacket go on sale on ASOS a while ago, I was drawn to the material sleeves. It almost makes it look like a denim vest! The jacket is super comfy, the sleeves are like a knitted jumper. I get warm pretty easily, so these are brilliant to just push up. No hassle…
