Outfit and Event – Supanova Melbourne
Last Sunday, I headed out to Supanova. For those who have been looong time readers, you’ll know I used to work in the convention industry. My last con was 6 years ago, so it’s been an age since I’ve been to one. Boy have they grown! I was quite stunned at just how huge it’s grown. Having put a poll on Twitter asking which of two outfits I should wear, and the clear winner was an Ursula/Disney Villians themed outfit. I think it turned out pretty well and I was super comfy. Seeing as I was working on three hours of sleep comfort was a big thing. One of the…

Outfit – What I wore to White Night Ballarat
Just a short post today. I didn’t really get any good outfit photos from White Night, but I thought I would share these couple of pictures I do have. I wanted to wear something comfortable and not too hot. I also knew that I would be doing a lot of walking, so I wore my Sonsee Anti-Chafe shorts. Chub rub is a bitch and I’ve tried a few things, but I find bike shorts the best. I’m really impressed with Sonsees shorts though, they are breathable, comfy and don’t roll. I love this dress so much and I have no idea why I don’t wear it more. I was so…

Outfit of the garage sale x2
A couple of weekends ago, before I moved, I held a garage sale to try and get rid of some of my excess stuff. I met some amazing ladies and had a great time talking to people. I have to say, Melbourne certainly has some stylish ladies. I still have some of the above pieces that I will put online, but I also donated 4 large boxes to Diabetes Victoria. This was Sundays outfit, I just wanted something warm and comfortable. I was sore and tired and the weather was windy. The previous day I had had everything set up outside, but I had to move undercover of the garage…

Outfit – Bowie
When the news hit that David Bowie passed away, I cried. I didn’t really talk about it on social media, but Bowie had been a big part of my life. I was introduced to him when I was young, Labyrinth has always been my favourite movie, my high school music teacher knew I loved Bowie so much he gifted me an expensive Bowie book, and I was lucky enough to see him live in 2004. I’ve mentioned it before but David Bowie is my God. When I saw this 24-hour release from Living Dead Clothing, with 15% of profits going to Australian Cancer Research Foundation, my only decision was to get the dress…
