    Aussie Curves – Oversized

Oversized! Well, that is what this weeks Aussie Curves theme is. The thing is, I don’t really own anything very oversized. So, I looked through my wardrobe and decided on this City Chic dress. Its slightly oversized, the tied waist means you can wear it lower like a dress, or a bit higher as a tunic. My Dad bought it for me a couple of days before my 22nd birthday & this is actually my ‘go to’ flying dress. When I used to fly often, you’d often see me in this dress at the airport paired with some leggings. Its just so comfortable! I realllllly just love the whole 80’s…

    Aussie Curves – Colour Clash

Today has been the first day in the past couple that I actually got up and got dressed. I’m not feeling as nauseous, so I pushed myself to get dressed to this weeks Aussie Curves theme of ‘colour clashing’.  I knew what I was going to wear as soon as I read the prompt nearly a year ago, though it didn’t factor in that it would be in the middle of winter. Luckily, it was a really nice sunny day out! I love to clash colours. Green & purple are one of my favourite colour combos, but #1 on that list is pink & orange. The photos turned out really…

    Aussie Curves – Metallic

I could not for the life of me figure out what I wanted to wear for this weeks theme. I changed my outfit 4 times before I settled on this. I’ve been feeling a little under the weather and that always seems to make it harder for me to decide what I want to wear. Please tell me i’m not the only one. I have a fair few metallic items, but wanted to show off this gorgeous skirt that Jess made for me. It’s really quite beautiful and I’ve made a habit of wearing it as a tunic style top. Though it’s much more suited to summer, then winter, I…

    Aussie Curves – Feminine

First of all, I’m one of those people who have a very hard time pronouncing the word feminine. I always tend to keep going, femininimem. It tends to amuse most people, but frustrate me! I wore this dress out for my birthday lunch (more on that in the next post), and I planned to get some awesome pictures while out. Of course, that never happened, so I put the outfit back on today to take photos. It then decided to rain. When this dress popped up on the City Chic site, it was LOVE at first sight, and when I went into the store and decided to try it on,…

    Aussie Curves – Spikes

I’ve always claimed that even my fashion is ruled by my star sign. I was always planning on gothing it up a bit for ‘Spike Week’ on Aussie Curves, but as you can see, there is no black in sight! I was also considering using this dress/tunic for an upcoming theme. Oh well.  It’s been a while since I’ve worn this, I got it in 2010 (you can see it in an OOTD here) but my then boyfriend didn’t really like it on me, so I never wore it. It’s a little large in the boob department, but otherwise I quite like it. It’s so comfy & makes me feel…
