Aussie Curves – Peplum
After missing out on the last few weeks of Aussie Curves, it’s nice to be back! This weeks theme is Peplum, and it’s one trend that I have fully embraced. I have a few tops, a skirt & a belt, so I was spoilt for choice this week. I decided on this Dorothy Perkins bird print peplum. It doesn’t have the thick fabric stiffness of the City Chic ones, but it’s got better flounce then ASOS. I bought this over a year ago and I’m super glad the weather is warming up so I can wear it again!Yes! I am wearing pants! The horror! I’m sooo not a pants person,…

Aussie Curves – Little Black Dress
My parents have been away one day and already I am missing my Mothers camera. For those who don’t know, I usually take my blog photos myself, with my Mothers digital SLR and a remote. These photos are taken with my old point and shoot, on a self timer. I don’t know how I used to do it, I’ve certainly become more lazy! I snapped these few photos and was like “nope, i’m done, this is too frustrating”. So, apologies for the fact they are quite bright! /whinge. This weeks Aussie Curves theme is LBD, I have a few LBD’s but I thought i’d showcase this one. This dress was…

Aussie Curves – Work
I haven’t had the chance to check out the other Aussie Curves posts this week yet, but I think mine may be a little different then most of the others. If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you’ll know, due to my mental health, I don’t work. If anything, my blog is my job and I dabble a bit in freelance graphic and web design. Working on my blog at home, I’m usually in some variation of this outfit. Leggings and a jumper or hoodie. No make up, crazy fluffy hair. It’s about comfort. Since my lounge arrived, I’ve been doing all my computer work curled up on it.…

Aussie Curves – Feminine
To be honest, I got a little thrown this time with ‘feminine’. I think feminine is certainly one of those things that can mean different things to different people. I think of myself as a feminine dresser, I like dresses & skirts, lingerie, heels, pretty colours. I decided to push my boundaries a little and go a little crazy. Yes, that is a shark crop top, and yes, I think I managed to make it look somewhat feminine. Sure, sharks aren’t nessasarily what you’d call feminine, but throw on a pretty pink cardi and some pearls and wa-hey. NOTE: I wouldn’t actually wear it without the cardigan, like the middle…

Aussie Curves – Celebrate
Cake by Jo This week is the first week of a new round of Aussie Curves. It’s so hard to believe it’s been a year already and I just have to say, I am so thankful that Dani decided to put this together. It’s made me think outside the box, stretch my comfort levels, and made me feel part of an amazing and supportive community. Thank you Dani! If you’re wanting to join in the fun, be sure to head over to the facebook group and ask to join. There you will find all the information on the rules, themes and of course lots of talk about fashion! Photo by…
