    Aussie Curves – Sequins

Sequins! Sequins! Sequins! Oh, how I adore them! I have a LOT of sequins in my wardrobe, a hell of a lot actually, for someone who doesn’t go out anywhere fancy very often. I’m just attracted to anything sparkly and glittery, I’m sure I was a magpie in a previous life. Figuring out something to wear for this weeks Aussie Curves challenge was actually hard, I didn’t want to wear any of the same things from the last sequins challenge, and I wanted to do something more then just a dress. That’s when I remembered that this dress arrived the other day. After spying it on sale at ASOS, I…

    Aussie Curves – Valentine’s Day

Ahhh, Valentine’s day! My mind raced with all sorts of ideas for this weeks theme. I’ve been single for the last two valentines, and this year, while I’m not so single, I’ll be spending the day solo. Anyway, I decided to just put together an outfit of what I would wear, if I was spending the day with someone special! Red lace! Red is such a passionate colour, I went through a stage around 5 years ago that the only colours I had in my wardrobe were red & black. That was, until I dyed my hair pink. I love how red & black look together. I decided on a…

    Aussie Curves – Animalistic

I’m living out of a suitcase at the moment, back in Melbourne. I didn’t think to pack ahead with Aussie Curves, and thought i’d have to sit this week out. That was until I remembered this dress, it’s covered in owls! That’s totally animalistic! Owls happen to be in my top 5 favourite animals and I have quite a collection of owl ornaments. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is my Black Milk midnight owl skater dress & I loooove it. This was my first BM skater and I fear i’m addicted. For those wanting to know sizing, this is the old cut, a size XL. I’m excited about the new cut…

Aussie Curves – Breaking the Rules

Breaking the rules, huh? I found this challenge hard. Sure, there are many things we are told ‘not to wear’, especially as a plus size woman. The thing is, I’ve never really paid too much attention to those rules. I’ve worn crop tops, bodycon, and rocked a vbo many times. Last time we had this challenge, I wore leggings as pants, a stripped down to my bra. This time, I’m going a bit more simpler. Socks with heels. It’s something you either love or hate. I actually love it, but I admit to liking some questionable 80’s fashion. How AWESOME is this dress!? It’s from the straight size section of…

Aussie Curves – New Years Eve

HAPPY NEW YEAR! So, it’s officially 2014! Yay! I took a bit of a blogging break over the past 2 weeks whilst my man friend has been here and I have to say, it’s been nice. I didn’t realise just how much of my time revolved around blogging! I’m back from my mini hiatus though, and what better way then for the first Aussie Curves theme of the year! I’m totally cheating with this theme though, I didn’t actually wear this outfit on New Years. I spent NYE at a friends party and was advised to not wear anything that i’d want to get ruined, turns out they hired sumo…
