    Melbourne Adventures! Help Needed!

I’m counting down the days until I’ll be in Melbourne, for a couple of reasons. The original reason of me visiting Melbourne was because of The Blogcademy. I’ve been blogging online in some form or other for 12 years. Yes. 12 years. One of the first blogs I remember reading was this blog called ‘iCiNG’ by a New Zealand girl Gala Darling. Not too long after that I fell in love with design and vision of Nubby Twiglet. So when a while ago, Gala, Nubby and Kat announced they were bringing their blogging workshop ‘down under’, I knew I HAD to go. I’ve been saving, saving, saving. Which, between trying…

    Suitcase Shenanigans – American Tourister

I used to travel a lot, I lived in Adelaide, all my family in Sydney & I’d often work Conventions in Melbourne. One year I flew 15 times. I had a bright pink suitcase that came along with me, but sadly on my move back to Sydney, it died. It served me well. On my trip to New Zealand, I borrowed my parents suitcase, but when I said YES to going to Aitutaki, I realised, I really should get a new suitcase. Aitutaki – Stop! It’s photo time!

I have over 1000 photos in my Aitutaki folder, that’s not even ALL of them. Between my sister, her fiance and myself, we took a lot. I thought I’d go through and pick a few more to share with you. I can’t believe it’s been 2 months since I was there. I also can’t believe how much I actually miss it. With a super sized carving of Tangaroa |  Full moon at where we stayed. | Always a tree hugger. Caleb & I playing in the lagoon. Caleb and I relaxing on Rapota | Yummy drinks | On the first day This fashion was somewhat crazy. The night before I was attacked by…

Aitutaki – Hermit Crabs and Hospitals!

One thing Aitutaki had was an abundance of wildlife, one of my favourites were the hermit crabs. I’ve been a lover of hermit crabs for ages, and I used to have a huge tank with a dozen of them, all named after Harry Potter characters. I was so excited to see them in the wild, in their natural environment, and by golly there were seriously thousands! All shapes and sizes! When my nephew pointed out this little guy to me, I made all those cooing noises you make at a cute baby. LOOK AT HIM! He is SO tiny! Look at his little eyes! (Please excuse my horrid, horrid nail polish) See,…
