Love Vintage & OOTD
Last Saturday Dani and I hit up ‘Love Vintage Clothing Show & Sale’. Oh, I could have easily spent $23872.95 on all the pretty things. While there wasn’t much that would cater to my hip size, the jewelry, shoes & handbags were to die for! I was lucky enough to snap up a dress for $20! Dani picked up a couple of bags and keyring! I was feeling a little, uh, under the weather as I was out late the night before, so it was a ‘mascara & lipstain’ make up kind of day. I wanted a comfortable, but still somewhat vintage inspired outfit. I LOVE this dress. It feels like forever ago…

Outfits for Natalie – By Nessbow!
I’ve talked about Ness before on my blog, about her being an inspiration to me in many ways, and I was super excited when I read one of her latest blog posts titled ‘Outfits for Natalie’. Yep, she wrote a post dedicated to help me style the red maxi skirt I talked about in my vlog! Isn’t she wonderful! I really love every outfit and was surprised at how well she could pick my style! Ness has let me re-post the blog here, but make sure you check out her blog. __________________________________________________ Yesterday I watched a V-log by the gorgeous Natalie of XL as Life. (Have you checked out her blog? It’s…

Weekly Wishlist!
Either my taste has become more expensive, or everything has gone up in price. I think maybe it’s a mixture of the two. It seems lately a lot of my WW are more ‘things I wish I could afford’. I guess that is why its a WISHlist! If you have a minute, go to the site and watch the catwalk video, LOOK AT IT SPARKLE! BITCH I’M A UNICORN SHIRT – $33au – In plus sizes too!…

NZ Spotlight – Little Sister Designs
While not ‘plus size fashion’, I just had to do a post on Little Sister Designs. L.S.D jewelry comes from the imagination of Charlotte Burkhart a jewelry maker of 10 years, living in New Zealand. To me, her designs are the perfect balance of beautiful and macabre. I’m always drawn to items that are a little different and these, to me, are pretty much perfection. The use of teeth, human hair & silver, may seem strange to some, but just makes it seem all that much more special to me. I think my favourite item would be The Secret Garden Ring ($135us) a gorgeous antique ring that’s been cast in sterling…

NZ Spotlight – The Carpenters Daughter
My fave item, the Opium Dress The Carpenters Daughter was established in 1990 and caters to sizes 12-24. They have 6 stores through out New Zealand, but you can buy online. Shipping to Australia is $25NZ. Our philosophy is to celebrate the curves of women’s bodies, accentuate the positive, and empower curvy women to hold their heads proudly, and feel worthy of fashion. In September 09, TCD lead the way for change in the NZ Fashion industry by being the first ever “plus size” label invited to show at New Zealand Fashion Week. I could easily spend a gazillion $$$ at TCD. The thing I love about this label is it’s…
