Getting to know me!
So, I found this ‘Getting to know me’ questionnaire on Woosang was here and decided to do it myself! Are you named after someone? Kind of, but it’s personal. My middle name Jane however is after my Mums best friend when she was younger. When was the last time you cried? Just over a week ago, I had to take the kitty to the vet because he was sick and I was just overwhelmed and stressed. Do you have kids? Not human ones no, I do however have animals! Do you have a guilty pleasure? Probably way too many! Shoes are probably my biggest weakness. Do you like handwriting? Sure! I…

So it goes…
This year has been a doozy so far and in all honesty, I’m not coping the best. My foot and the hospital visit have my anxiety levels at an all time high, and i’m scared to leave the house. So much has happened to the people around me that being an empath has left me feeling like a husk of a human. I’m not sure what i’m feeling or if i’m feeling for other people. Tuesday I am to see an Orthopedic Surgeon, my hopes are that I will get out of this cam boot, but I guess we shall see. My foot IS feeling much better then it was.…

8 things I learnt in Hospital & WTF happened.
2016 started off nothing like i’d planned really. On Monday (the 4th) I set off to the Doctors to get some scripts and last minute things because I was FINALLY set to fly home to Melbourne on Wednesday (the 6th). Only thing was, I was feeling a bit sick, and the Doctor checked my BP & wasn’t happy, then decided to give me an ECG, and then ended up calling an ambulance and sending me to hospital. 8 things I learnt from my hospital visit. Ambos are very amusing, I think they try to distract you with the funny. When your BP drops & you basically faint, you can’t be…

Still alive!
Wahey, sorry for dropping off the radar a bit. Let’s just say i’ve been a bit over whelmed and down in the dumps, what with the whole broken foot thing. So, what’s new? Well, Tonka is here! He arrived last Tuesday and settled in no problems. It’s nice having his company as i’ve been pretty much confined to bed. The cast came off! YAY! I went back to the hospital last Wednesday, and I just have to say, I’m pretty impressed with Napean hospital! I had x-rays, a good talk with an orthopedic surgeon and then got fitted with a boot, all within an hour. Plus they have volunteers all…

Plaster casts and flying cats!
So, to follow up on my previous post, as you can see, i’m currently in plaster! Last Wednesday I hobbled into my parents local Doctors, and as soon as she pulled out the scan she exclaimed “That’s fractured”. What? I mean, the Doctor on Monday DID say she wasn’t the best at reading x-rays and she couldn’t see a break, which was why she was sending it off to a proper dude, but for this Doctor to glance at a PRINTED out version (not the normal see through scan thingy) and pick it out straight away. Guh! I really wasn’t expecting that. I had to go to the Emergency department…
