Event – 2018 Anatolian Easter Festival
I’m a little all over the shop with updating, I know, sorry! I had decided to wait to do a post on the Anatolian show until I had finished the video, but that was delayed. Firstly a few of the files were somehow corrupt, then my video editor kept crashing. I ended up purchasing a new video editor and then had to learn it all! I probably spent 20+ hours on the video and tbh, it’s pretty crappy, but oh well. You can view it at the end of the post. If you’ve followed me for awhile, you know i’m a dog person. Well, a dog person who owns cats.…

Event – Meccaland
A few months ago, Australian makeup/beauty superstore Mecca announced that it would be holding a huge makeup convention/festival dubbed ‘Meccaland’. I was instantly interested. Fast forward to closer to the event and my BFF Kayley asked if I would like to go along with her. Duh! Of course, I would. I was super lucky Kayley managed to nab us both tickets because tickets sold out FAST! The event was fun! I wasn’t too sure what to expect, but I loved it! Each brand had their own area with a selection of products. My only wish was that they would have had a bit of a bigger selection of products. That…

Event – Sydney Royal Easter Show
One of the reasons why I headed to Sydney last month was to go to the Sydney Royal Easter Show. I adore it, I’ve been going for as long as I remember. I love looking at all the animals and displays. I went with my Mum and we spent the day exploring. We walked nearly 12km and didn’t see everything, we didn’t even venture anywhere near rides! The Easter Show is held by the Royal Agriculture Society and started in 1823! Revenue generated by the show allows the RAS to invest in agricultural programs, competitions, education, youth and rural NSW. It’s so fascinating walking around and seeing all the animals and food…

Event – Mallorys Barbie Birthday Bash!
A few weekends ago it was my BFF Mallory’s birthday and to celebrate she threw an amazing Barbie party at Mt Buller! She did such a fantastic job organising everything, which included the ride up and back (Thanks, Ang!). The drive up the mountain was pretty crazy as it was late at night and pitch black. You just knew that down the side was a steep drop, but you couldn’t see a thing. The drive home was better due to the fact we got to see so much of Victoria’s gorgeous landscape. Mallory thought of everything! There was so much fun to be had, including colouring in! Can you guess which…

Anatolian Champion Show of 2017
Friday was the 2017 Anatolian Champion Show. If you’ve followed me for awhile you already know how much I love animals, dogs in particular and especially the Anatolian Shepherd. This is the 4th year i’ve been, you can see previous years on the blog too. I headed out to the local camp the Thursday night, people come in from around Victoria and even interstate and most stay at a camp ground out near the event. Gunner (Takas Gungadin) and Jicky. These guys are litter mates and hadn’t seen each other since they went their separate ways as puppies. They must have some sort of memory though because they became fast…
