Outfit – Bowie
When the news hit that David Bowie passed away, I cried. I didn’t really talk about it on social media, but Bowie had been a big part of my life. I was introduced to him when I was young, Labyrinth has always been my favourite movie, my high school music teacher knew I loved Bowie so much he gifted me an expensive Bowie book, and I was lucky enough to see him live in 2004. I’ve mentioned it before but David Bowie is my God.
When I saw this 24-hour release from Living Dead Clothing, with 15% of profits going to Australian Cancer Research Foundation, my only decision was to get the dress or top. As you can see, I went for the dress. I figured i’d wear it more. I think this has taken up top spot of my favourite Bowie item of clothing, up until now it was the Hoodie my grandmother bought me from the Reality tour.
Decided to play with some make up, I’ve been loving experimenting with colours again. I remember when I was in high school I’d just sit on the floor in front of my wardrobe mirrors and play with make up looks for hours.
I’m in desperate need of a hair cut. One of the side effects of the magnesium deficiency (what I was in hospital for last month) is that my hair has been falling out more then normal. Add to the fact its so long, it feels like i’m constantly being caught in spider webs, so I’m trying to figure out what I should do with it.
I didn’t want to take away from the layout of the dress, so I decided to add my Baccurelli brooch to the hem of the dress. Remember, brooches can be worn anywhere, even in your hair!
