Aussie Curves – Sequins
Sequins! Sequins! Sequins! Oh, how I adore them! I have a LOT of sequins in my wardrobe, a hell of a lot actually, for someone who doesn’t go out anywhere fancy very often. I’m just attracted to anything sparkly and glittery, I’m sure I was a magpie in a previous life. Figuring out something to wear for this weeks Aussie Curves challenge was actually hard, I didn’t want to wear any of the same things from the last sequins challenge, and I wanted to do something more then just a dress.
That’s when I remembered that this dress arrived the other day. After spying it on sale at ASOS, I snapped it up. I’d never ordered from the ‘Club L’ range before, and ordered my normal size 22. Uh, it’s supposed to be a shift dress, as you can see, its rather tight, it also doesn’t cover my butt, AT ALL. I wouldn’t even call it a tunic! But the colour is so beautiful, I’m tempted to re-order it in a few sizes bigger.
It works well as a top though, or so I think. I decided to pair it with my pleather mini skater skirt, I’ve been loving mixing textures. The boots are a Kmart find, and recently went on sale for $9! YES, $9!
