Outfit – Silver & Black Milk
First off, I want to say thank you to everyone who commented on my previous post, hearing that i’m not the only one really helped make me feel better, so thank you!
Last Friday, my niece and I got up early and caught a ride into the city to attend the Black Milk Sample Sale. On the walk over to the venue, who would we run into, but Miss Evie from Work it, Own it, Use it! 5 minutes in the city & I bump into someone I know!
Sharn & I made it to the sample sale venue at 10am, doors to the sale didn’t open until 2pm and we ended up being around 120th in the line. Yes, we did end up waiting around 4 hours! We were in the 3rd batch let in, they let groups of around 50 people in at a time, and we had a 20 minute time limit. Let me tell you, it’s hard scouring through huge mountains of nylon trying to find your dream piece. I’ve learnt that i’m not very good at it.
I did score these awesome leggings, as well as two bodysuits, everything was $30! I’ve never bought Black Milk leggings before because I honestly did not think that they would fit. My legs aren’t too chunky, but I do have a belly, so looking at their sizing I didn’t want to risk it. It’s a lot of money to pay if they don’t fit.
I’ve heard different things about the BM leggings, that sizing is different in most things due to the material. Some stretch more then others. These are the size L, and they fit good. They are tight and create a bit of a muffin top due to the elastic, but with a tunic, it’s fine. I would also advise to be careful of the print. I know with my dresses that due to the leggings stretching so much, it can cause the image to warp and look a bit odd.
But I’m soooo in love with this outfit now and feel it’s going to be a repeat offender! It’s surprising really comfy and my Mum keeps remarking on how much she likes the leggings on me.

A few pictures from the day, I didn’t end up getting any outfit pics, but I wore my cape & had the designer tell me I was “rocking it”. I tried something a little different with my make up on the day!
