Frodo’s home!
My Mister Baggins is home! We had a call early Sunday morning saying that if it was okay, he could come home. It seems he was feeling well enough that his anxiety had kicked in and the vet believed he’d probably recover a little better if he was home. When we got to the vet and were waiting to get him, the sounds he was making, oh it broke my heart. He was howling and wailing. As soon as we put his lead on him however, he calmed down.
I nearly lost him, and I can’t put into words how much that scares me. We were lucky we got him in when we did. Apparently the blood supply had started to be cut off and his insides were turning purple, if we hadn’t taken him in, his inside tissue would have died and eventually him. But the important thing is, he’s home now, he’s safe, and he won’t be having any more bones!
He’s just been sleeping, and i’ve been having to carry him everywhere. If I move more then 3ft away, he starts to cry. He’s got special food to eat, which, he’s tolerating and he successfully pooped last night. Never thought i’d be so happy about that! He has to go back on the 10th to have the stitches removed.
I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has kept him in their thoughts, who have sent their well wishes, who have comment and donated money. It means so much to me. The final bill came to $2970. Thankfully, my parents were able to pay, but I plan on paying them back as much as I possibly can.
