Blogcademy friends & the power of sale dresses!
Just over a year ago, I flew to Melbourne (from my home in Sydney) to attend ‘The Blogcademy’. A 2 day workshop hosted my 3 influential bloggers that I had been following for years. Little did I know, that in the span of 12 months, I’d have picked up my life, MOVED to Melbourne, and have a bunch of amazing fellow bloggers to call friends. Last week, with MJ visiting Melbourne (She lives in Adelaide) a few of us got together for some shopping, yummy food, and blog talk. I’ve been blogging in one form or another for a loooong time, i’m talking around 12 years now. One of the first blogs I remember reading was Gala’s, she had colourful hair and such an optimistic outlook that I couldn’t help but wish I had. Soon after, I started reading Nubby Twiglet. Shauna had such an amazing design aesthetic that stretched across into her wardrobe & home. She was a girl after my own heart. Aussie Curves – Black & White (at The Blogcademy)
I’ve not participated in the last couple of weeks of Aussie Curves and I’ve missed it! Whilst searching through my suitcase trying to figure out what to wear for this weeks ‘Black & White’ theme, I remembered that my outfit for the 2nd day of The Blogcademy was in fact Black & White. This isn’t actually what I had planned for Day 2, however I slept in, and after sitting on the floor most of the first day, I decided to opt for comfort.
