Breaking out of my comfort zone.
Neysha and I trying on sunglasses at Sportsgirl. Me about to try Max Brenner for the first time. Images by Neysha. Doing things that are out of your comfort zones is hard. Myself, I’m not so good at doing things by myself. I can be quite self conscious and anxious. I can’t catch a bus in Sydney, I can do it if I’m with a friend, but by myself, nope, can’t step on one. I can catch a train in Sydney most days though. It’s frustrating to say the least, it’s something that so many people take for granted, but for me, it’s something that I just can’t do, when I…

Park shenanigans – The Bloopers!
“Nope, move over, you’re hiding in my hair!“. I take 99% of my outfit photos myself, you see, I feel SO AWKWARD having someone else take photos of me. I can be quite self conscious not because of the way I look, I think more with the thought of making a fool of myself. Having Natalie at the park with me, trying to get me out of my shell a bit and directing me, well, I ended up with some amusing photos I thought i’d share. A skirt and a kids spring tractor toy don’t mix, but I certainly tried. I then decided what better time to burst into some Gangnam…

The year in review!
JANUARY – The New Year was spent with my parents staying at my place in Adelaide, they came for Christmas. I really enjoyed having my parents stay, see my house, meet Henry. It was a really happy time for me. FEBRUARY – I learnt even more about cats and fell even more in love with Henry. He was always doing something new and adorable. I also held the first giveaway of the year thanks to Megs Ragged Edge. MARCH – My nephew Caleb visited, so Adam and I took him to the Zoo & the beach to try and keep him occupied. I realised it’s not easy looking after a…

OOTD – Out in the city!
If you know me, I’m a bit of a homebody. I’m trying to push myself to get out more, have fun, live life. On Friday, one of my best friends was in the finals of a stand up comedy competiton in the city, so I took the opportunity to frock up and head into town for some laughs. The weather was iffy. It was warm, but overcast, later in the night it was raining. I tried on 2838264 different outfits and settled on this one. I love this City Chic dress, though the belt had ridden up a bit in these pictures. Oh well. I was also complimented at the…

Quick Pics – Phone Cam Post!
When I was in Melbourne we went to dinner at a Teppenyaki restaurant. It was AMAZING! I’d never been before & had such a fantastic time. I am a really shy person, but I thought I should at least bask in the full experience, lets just say, I’m not the best at catching bowls, especially bowls filled with fried rice! Our chef wrote my name in egg! Yes, that there is egg! I then proceeded to eat it! Omnomnom! Ginny & Henry <3 This was way back in June! Lou, Jess & I out to dinner (with Adam) at The Pancake Kitchen! Henry would often end up sitting on my netbook.…
