OOTD – Power Clashing
The awesome Anni started a challenge “#kidsugarfashionchallenge” and last weeks theme was ‘Power Clashing’. I decided to jump in and give it a go. I’ve been in a bit of a funk and haven’t really been getting dressed as I’m not leaving the house. So, this made me actually get up and get dressed. I’m hoping to join a few more of the challenges in the future! I’ve been wearing this skirt a bit lately cause it’s just so comfy! It’s a little big on me but I’m finding that comes in handy for comfort! I haven’t rocked a crop in ages and yes, I was a bit cold! I…

Outfit – Stars and Pinks Stockings – Melbourne Museum
Oh hey, look, it’s an actual outfit post! It’s been a bit, I know. Sadly, my camera is broken and I can get it to work if it’s zoomed out, but it won’t focus. I also can’t afford a new camera, so it may be a while before I have good quality outfit pictures. Sorry! Anyway, on Monday, I headed into the city to meet my long time online buddy Lucy. I met up with Lucy, her husband, daughter and later, her brother at Naked for Satan. I adore Naked for Satan (I went there for my 30th birthday!) and I got to sit on the outside balcony for the…

Outfit – Star Wars and Lace!
So, I’m doing something a little crazy in the blogging world. I’m wearing the same skirt two outfit posts in a row! The truth is, wearing the same item a few days in a row isn’t a bad thing. Being an outfit repeater is totally normal. When you love something, wear it! Big W has been a big problem lately, taking my money! They keep releasing these amazing crop tops and I just can’t seem to resist them. I have a Barbie one, a Ghostbusters one, and now this Star Wars one. I’m also eyeing a Peter Pan one they have. Honestly, Peter Pan means SO much more to me…

Aussie Curves – Resort
This weeks Aussie Curves theme is Resort. Another theme that’s a little out of my element, I’m not really a ‘Resort’ kind of person. When I think ‘Resort Wear’, my first thought was actually of Nikki from Styling You. She recently went to Bali and rocked some amazing outfits, so I guess my outfit is somewhat inspired by her love of colours and kaftans. This dress doesn’t see the light of day much. It’s usually an ‘under something else dress’ or a ‘throw over a swimming costume dress’. Basically, it shows all my lumps and bumps, but I couldn’t resist the colour, cut or price tag. Dress – Sussan | Kimono –…

Aussie Curves – Peplum
After missing out on the last few weeks of Aussie Curves, it’s nice to be back! This weeks theme is Peplum, and it’s one trend that I have fully embraced. I have a few tops, a skirt & a belt, so I was spoilt for choice this week. I decided on this Dorothy Perkins bird print peplum. It doesn’t have the thick fabric stiffness of the City Chic ones, but it’s got better flounce then ASOS. I bought this over a year ago and I’m super glad the weather is warming up so I can wear it again!Yes! I am wearing pants! The horror! I’m sooo not a pants person,…
