    Caturday – Tonka Time

It’s been awhile since I shared some love of my fur babies here. I’m still missing Mr Frodo terribly, I had moments where I will break down and cry just from the heart break, but I also know thats not what he would have wanted. Tonka fretted for a while, went off his food, was very lost, but he’s back to his old self again now. He loves going and playing with my parents dogs though. I’m sure he thinks of himself as a dog. He used to have a toy foam red nose that he LOVED, that was until Aussie tore it up. I went on ebay and bought…

    Easter Show!

For those who don’t know, every year, Sydney holds the ‘Royal Easter Show‘. I usually try and go every few years. The last time I went was 2 years ago with my Mum & Nephew, we went of an afternoon/night and had fun with all the rides. You can see the post here. This year, I realised i’ve grown old, as all I wanted to do was walk around alllll the pavilions and look at the animals! It really is HUGE, I only probably went around 65% of it and I was there around 5 hours. Luckily the weather was nice and it only drizzled for a small amount of…

    Goodbye Mr Frodo

RIP Frodo Dobby Baggins 17/07/2002 – 2/12/2013 Yesterday was a hard day. The worst day. I had to say goodbye to my best friend, my baby, or as Caitlin put it, my furry soul mate. Those of you who have followed my blog for a long time will know how much this little man meant to me, and to say that I am devastated would be an understatement. Frodo had been getting old. After his operation early last year, he’s aged dramatically. The past month or so, he’s just grown really lazy, mainly due to some arthritis in his legs. He’s been less lively. On Saturday, his back right leg…

    Keep on moving!

Sometimes it seems its one step forward, two steps back. It’s frustrating. I’ve come down with some flu and my body just wants me to sleep, and then I feel overwhelmed by the list of things I should be doing instead of resting. I need to take a breath. I need to stress less. The animals in this household never fail to bring my joy. Betsy is finally realising more and more that she can be a dog, that she can do things and not get into trouble for it. She’s sometimes even pushing those limits, but it’s amazing to see her not be afraid to show personality. She’s loving…

    A new puppy!

On Saturday we welcomed a new member into the family! A little boy, yet to have a final name confirmation. It was Jimmy, but due to a few circumstances, Mum’s decided to change it. She just hasn’t found the right one yet. Yep, it’s another Cavi! Mum does seem to love the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels! I was really surprised when Mum mentioned she was thinking of getting a puppy. After Emily passed away, I didn’t really think Mum would get another dog, let alone a puppy. This little dude, yep, a male, is about 4 months old, so not a young puppy, but oh how I had forgotten how…
