Outfit – Something’s different.
That something, in case you didn’t notice, is that i’m now a blonde. Yes, it’s a drastic change for me, I’ve never been blonde longer then 24 hours before. I’ve not had a ‘normal’ colour in, well, a very long time. Whilst I was away, the sea water stripped out my colour pretty fast and left my hair blonde with a green tinge, I had a lot of people telling me they liked it, so I actually booked myself into the hairdressers, and got a balayage blonde colour done. Off with her head!
When Off with her head Millinery made a call out for bloggers, I promptly emails all but begging “pick me, pick me”. I’m a sucker for some good hair accessories, fascinators, hats & I’d been eyeing some of Lisa’s designs on Etsy for awhile. (I’ve been considering getting her to make something similar to THIS tardis fascinator she made, AMAZING!) When this Cherry fascinator arrived, beautifully packed in a padded bag, I was super excited to show it off. I decided to TRY and channel my inner Katy Perry and rock my pastel wig. There has been a lot of these posts floating around the blogosphere, and seeing as I’m kind of in a blogging slump, with my head being caught up in unpacking and such, I thought I’d join in. You’d know that I feel most alive when I’m surrounded by nature and animals. That being said, I like to have the modern conveniences of toilets, running water and internet. I’d love to just live in a beautiful house in the middle of a forest. You’d know that I don’t feel like ‘me’ without coloured hair. Pretty in Pink… isn’t she?
Sorry about the title. After looking at these pictures I thought “Gees, that’s a lot of pink”, which then got The Psychedelic Furs song stuck in my head. Now I kind of want to go and watch the movie, it’s one of my favourites. I’d also like to apologise for the lack of posts, moving is cray cray. I think the only thing worse then moving is moving in summer. Once the weather hits over 30, I just want to lock myself in an air conditioned room.
