Outfit – Into the Blue
I’m back in Sydney again. The past two weeks in Melbourne have been marvelous and I really didn’t want to leave. Sorry for the lack of posting, but I really haven’t been up to much apart from lazing about and dying in the heat. My friends place doesn’t have air conditioning, and I have now learnt just how horrid 40°c days can be. Ugh.
Whilst I was there, my man friend celebrated his birthday with a gathering of friends and family. I was nervous and had NO IDEA what I should wear. So when I met up with Vanessa, I enlisted her help in choosing the right dress. After looking around Melbourne city, we ended up back at City Chic and a few choices for me to try. This dress won out by far. It’s probably not something I’d normally be drawn too, but once I tried it on, I was in love. I felt like a princess.
I didn’t take any photos on the day, but re-created the outfit to take these pictures. I kept everything else simple because I thought the dress spoke for itself, also, the heat! One thing I don’t like about the dress is the belt, it doesn’t sit quite right on me and keeps popping open. It’s not attached, so I think next time I wear the dress, I’ll switch it out for a different belt.

Annnnnd, of course Aussie is happy to have me back. He had to get in on the outfit action!
