My NYE in pictures.

I just thought I’d share a few snaps from my NYE celebrations. I didn’t take too many photos as I only took my phone & ipad. I decided to just forget about too much social media and live in the now. It was a great night, a wonderful start to the new year!

We started the afternoon off at Brighton Le Sands, overlooking the airport, and the peak on the left if La Perouse, where my father grew up and my Uncle still lives in the family house. They had fireworks at 9pm that lasted for just over 20 minutes. They were AMAZING, seriously, breathtaking. The barge in the photo above is one of 3 that the fireworks got set off from, I’d never been SO CLOSE to them before. I took video, but it was going to take over 3 hours to upload 😛

We then went back to my sisters friends house, where we proceeded to do some drinking. The mai tai shots were delicious, and Absinthe tastes like what I imagine nail polish remover to taste like.
